Ajay Rochester opted for comfort as she stepped out in Beverly Hills on Friday night to run some last-minute errands ahead of attending Monday's Emmy Awards.

The former Biggest Loser host, 57, who now works as a casting producer, wore a loose blue V-neck T-shirt and black knee-length leggings for the outing.

She paired the relaxed ensemble with metallic pink trainers and a blue-and-beige LA baseball cap, with her blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail.

A bright floral crossbody bag added another splash of colour, while a pair of glasses hung from her neckline.

Ajay arrived at Sephora just two minutes before closing time, but the accommodating employees helped make sure she found what she needed.

She was spotted picking out a number of face masks and looking over products alongside a staff member as she squeezed in her late-night beauty shop.

Rochester hosted Australia’s The Biggest Loser before moving to Los Angeles in 2009 to pursue a career in the US

Elsewhere during the evening, she carried a red plastic cup while checking her phone as she crossed the street.

The former television presenter was seen getting out of a white-coloured open-sided car with wicker seats and a fringed canopy.

She smiled beside the parked vehicle, resting one hand on its roof and placing a pink trainer on the side step.

Ajay moved to the United States in 2009 to pursue an international television career.

The Sydney-born star previously opened up about how she became a casting director during a radio interview with Hit's Allan and Carly.

'My job is crazy and nuts, I love it! I wish I had done it my entire life. I was broke in LA and one of my friends said I would be really good at this job,' Ajay explained.

'They said the job is to go on the internet and convince people to go on TV and have the best - or worst - experience of their life! I was like, that sounds epic!'

She added the current reality TV show she was working on, Outlast, in which 16 people are forced to survive in the Alaskan wilderness, was in the top ten most watched shows on Netflix, which had opened doors for her.

'With my show in the top ten, I may well be a nominee next year,' Ajay told Daily Mail.

'It's been a journey, I left Biggest Loser to come host Celebrity Fit Club here in America. But that job fell through. I ended up broke and unemployed in the US.'

She added she now gets an annual invite to television's most exclusive event of the year.

Ajay was born in Sydney in 1969 and rose to fame as the host of reality weight-loss television series The Biggest Loser Australia from 2006 until 2009.
