So many tools to hold, so little hands

Backpacks and waist bags (or side satchels) are some of the most important tools in Big Walk, as they let you hold all the other gadgets and items.

However, you'll quickly find yourself overloaded with items, and you only have so many hands and bag space to hold them. Notably, backpacks can hold nearly any item, whereas waist bags can only hold smaller items. Unfortunately, the backpacks are fairly spread out, so it may take some time until you find another one for you or your pals.

Luckily, we've found them all, but we do recommend that you try to find them organically first, as the item struggle is part of the Big Walk experience.

Here's where to find every backpack and waist bag in Big Walk.

All backpack and waist bag locations in Big Walk

Backpacks and waist bags are found in circular blue buildings. These buildings have multiple tiers on the outside, but there's just one base floor with an entrance that juts out. On the map, they'll just look like a blue dot with a rectangular block attached to it. You can see an example of what they look like in the image below.

There are 10 blue buildings around the map, and you'll find one backpack or waist bag in each of them — except for the southernmost building, which has one of both. We've marked and numbered all of their locations on the map below, and listed what you'll find in each building.

Waist bag (purple) — Complete the yellow tower, and then follow the path from the red tunnel to the blue tower (blue tunnel to the red tower). On the way, there will be a doorway with a purple waist bag inside.

Backpack (red) and waist bag (teal) — We recommend completing the green tower, as it'll unlock a faster way to reach the southern part of the island. There is a path that will take you to the building in the southeast corner of the map or you can swim around the southwest corner if you would rather do that instead.
