Annie Knight criticised for wearing a white wedding dress and a veil as she ties the knot with fiancé Henry Brayshaw: 'Scarlet would have been more appropriate'

Adult content creator Annie Knight has been criticised for wearing a white wedding dress as she tied the knot with her partner Henry Brayshaw in an intimate outdoor ceremony on the Gold Coast on Thursday.

Several critics of the 29-year-old, who calls herself the 'most sexually active woman in Australia' and has previously claimed to have bedded over 300 men in one year, said it was inappropriate given her past antics, including sleeping with 583 men in six hours.

Traditionally, wearing white on your wedding day symbolises purity and innocence. However, these days, it is largely just a classic bridal tradition.

For her big day, Annie looked every inch the blushing bride as she and Henry exchanged vows at a scenic nature retreat at The Valley Estate in the Currumbin Valley.

Annie slipped into a simple white wedding gown that featured a structured bodice and flared skirt with a long train.

She added a flowing veil which was pinned into her updo and trailed behind her, as well as Jimmy Choo heels.

But many people were opposed to her choice of attire, with one suggesting she should have worn ‘scarlet’.

‘A white wedding dress? Scarlet would have been more appropriate, one would think,’ one wrote.

‘So, what's the white dress and veil for?’ another joked, while one flatly said: ‘She should not be dressed in white’.

Meanwhile, one simply said: ‘Wearing white? Lol.’

Annie has revealed she will not be quitting her adult content career now that she's a married woman, but will be toning things down.

Once she and Henry return from their honeymoon, her fans will continue to see her in X-rated material.

Annie told the Daily Mail that she will no longer perform the group sex stunts for which she has become well known.

When asked if she will be quitting her career, Annie said: 'No, no, I will still be on the platforms, but, yeah, I am winding down the big stunts.'

As to the reason behind her new, more modest approach, Annie explained: 'I will be too busy being a wife to do that!'

Annie and Henry said 'I do' surrounded by family, including Annie's parents and Henry's mother and siblings.

At one point, Henry could be seen wiping tears from his eyes as he said his vows to his love.

Adult star Lily Phillips, who stood up as Annie's bridesmaid, looked on proudly as the marriage was sealed with a kiss.

The couple were absolutely beaming as Henry presented his bride with a stunning Cartier wedding ring.

Also taking part in the ceremony were Annie's two Cavoodle dogs, who were led into the service by minders.

After the wedding, the couple will head off for a short honeymoon.

'We have got a honeymoon booked! We thought it would be weird to get married... and then just go back to normal life! So, we are going away for a week,' Annie told the Daily Mail ahead of the ceremony.

'The thing that will rock us though is the post-wedding depression. My hen's party was the best day of my life... once it was done, I was so depressed!' she continued.

'The only thing getting me through was I still had the upcoming wedding. Once it is done, I will be like, "I have nothing to look forward to anymore!"'

Annie became engaged in March 2025 when Henry got down on one knee during a holiday in Los Angeles.
