Astrologer Aliza Kelly Reveals Her 2026 Predictions for Each Zodiac Sign

Once upon a time there was light in our lives. But now there's only love in the dark.

OK, the totality of the Aug. 12 solar eclipse, in which the moon crosses in front of the sun, briefly blocking our view of its rays, lasted a scant few minutes for those in the path. However, it's impact will certainly linger, swears astrologer Aliza Kelly.

"Eclipses are linked to the nodes of fate and destiny and karma," the AstroloTea with Aliza Kelly podcaster explained in an exclusive interview with E! News, "so they expedite those themes in our life."

In other words, we're living in a powder keg and giving off sparks.

"I always say that eclipses open new doors by slamming others shut," Kelly noted of the event, one of many she had circled on her 2026 calendar. "They drag us onto timelines that we didn't realize we needed to be on. And sometimes things happen during eclipses that aren't necessarily what we thought we wanted. But then, whether that's in a few weeks, months or even years, we realize it was what we actually needed."

The general vibe, continued The Constellation Club founder, is "a big expect-the-unexpected theme."

Though if you'd like an inkling of what might be coming your way, might she suggest taking a peek at the past?

"I invite people to think about what was going on in their life between 2016 and 2019—the last time we were on this axis and had eclipses in Leo and Aquarius—to see if there were any themes or narratives that may be coming back up," detailed Kelly, "because this is our opportunity to do it differently, to apply new wisdom, to take advantage of the fact that so much life has happened since then, and we can do things that are more aligned with who we really are."

Kelly, kicking off her Haunted Tea Party: Spooky Season Astrology Tour Oct. 6, predicts "anyone with strong Leo and Aquarius in their charts" plus those with Cancer placements will be the most effected by the moon's do-si-do.

But with the sun "which represents our identity" being blocked by the moon "which represents our emotions," she shared, the event tends to, uh, shine a light on everything, creating an opportunity for something shocking "that gives us a change of heart around something, a change in our identity."

The best practice for Taureans, she added, is "reevaluating your origin story, or, as I like to say, your villain origin story."

Twin signs "should not be surprised if they receive some shocking information right now, especially coming from somebody that is close to them," detailed the Constellation Club founder. "A friend, a sibling, a colleague, a classmate could share something that really changes their perspective on something in their immediate environment."

No need to get crabby. For Cancers, noted Kelly, "it's themes around resources and money, so there could be new financial information that becomes available."

In this age for Aquarius, said Kelly, "it's all about partnership and relationship."

She recommends taking this time "thinking about who you are in relation to, thinking about the contracts that are in your life, thinking about the most important business arrangements you have and ensuring that they feel genuine and exciting reflections of who you want to be and who you want to become."

Just keep swimming, Pisces. For the fish, this period "is about health and the way we spend our time, the way that we prioritize certain responsibilities and tasks," detailed Kelly, "and acknowledging that how we spend our time is also what informs our external life, internal life and mental life."

"If it feels like burnout," she described, "if it feels like things are taking up too much time and you don't have adequate hours in the day to do the things that you have wanted to do, this eclipse could be a wakeup call in recognizing that you need to take more control over your schedule."
