Breaking Bad stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul are heading Down Under for a blockbuster Australian tour.

The Hollywood actors, who famously played Walter White and Jesse Pinkman in the critically acclaimed crime drama, will reunite on stage for a string of live shows in January 2027.

Dubbed An Evening With Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, the tour will see the longtime friends lift the lid on their years filming Breaking Bad while sharing never-before-heard stories from behind the scenes.

Bryan and Aaron revealed they are looking forward to finally meeting their Australian fans.

'We understand that it's very, very popular down there. And we're excited to be able to share all the stories behind the scenes, what we were thinking, what we were doing when the scenes were going on. And also what led us to, you know, Breaking Bad,' Cranston said during an appearance on Sunrise on Wednesday morning.

The hugely popular series premiered in 2008 and ran for five seasons before wrapping up in 2013 after 62 episodes.

Bryan starred as Walter White, a mild-mannered New Mexico chemistry teacher who turns to manufacturing methamphetamine after being diagnosed with cancer.

Aaron played his former student and eventual business partner Jesse Pinkman, with the unlikely duo going on to become one of television's most famous pairings.

Breaking Bad became a worldwide phenomenon and collected 16 Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards during its run.

Australian fans will now get the chance to hear directly from the actors about how some of the show's most memorable moments came together.

The pair are expected to discuss everything from the show's writing and production to marathon days on set and the scenes that have stayed with them more than a decade after the finale.

They will also open up about their careers away from Breaking Bad, their personal lives and the friendship that continued long after cameras stopped rolling.

That friendship eventually extended into business, with Bryan and Aaron launching their Dos Hombres mezcal brand together.

For Bryan, 70, the tour will also mark the end of a very long wait to visit Australia.

The actor revealed he had once planned to spend time Down Under with his wife and young daughter after landing a film role, only for the production to unexpectedly fall apart.

'Years ago, I was supposed to go do a movie there. And we were so excited. And we were going to bring our daughter with us; my wife and I and our daughter. She was young. She was probably seven or so. And the movie fell through, as they do occasionally,' he explained.

Bryan said the hardest part was telling his daughter that their Australian adventure was no longer happening.

'We had to tell her, we're not going to Australia. And she started to cry.'

The tour will begin at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Friday, January 15.

Bryan and Aaron will then head west for a show at Perth's RAC Arena on Monday, January 18.

They will appear at Melbourne's MCEC Plenary on Friday, January 22, before taking to the stage at Sydney's TikTok Entertainment Centre on Monday, January 25.

The pair will then cross the Tasman for their final show at Auckland's NZICC Te Pae Theatre on Thursday, January 28.
