Bruce Springsteen becomes a grandpa, again! Singer's daughter Jessica, 34, reveals she's expecting first child with boyfriend

Bruce Springsteen's daughter Jessica Springsteen announced she is expecting her first baby.

The 34-year-old shared the exciting news in a joint Instagram post with her fellow professional equestrian boyfriend Nicola Philippaerts, 33, on Saturday.

'New adventures,' the couple wrote in the caption of their post, which featured photos of Jessica showing off her growing bump.

Jessica is the only daughter of Springsteen, 77, and his longtime wife and bandmate Patti. The couple are also parents to two sons: Evan, 36, and Samuel, 32.

Springsteen first became a grandpa back in 2022 with the birth of his son Samuel and fiancée Grace's daughter Lily, four.

Jessica has been romantically linked to Philippaerts for around two years, according to Us Weekly.

In the photo album the couple posted via social media, Jessica and her beau appeared to be enjoying a sunny European getaway.

In several pictures, Jessica showed off her date night dresses and highlighted her baby bump in each look.

She cradled her hands around her baby bump, and in selfies with her boyfriend, Philippaerts was seen kissing her on the top of her head.

The parents-to-be also included photos of them enjoying a relaxing day on the beach as they sunbathed amid their vacation.

Jessica also snapped a photo of her beau with his hand in a cast during one point amid their holiday.

Though a slew of celebrities left their congratulations in the comments section, Jessica's famous parents have not yet addressed the news in a public manner.

Springsteen and his wife raised their children out of the spotlight and have often discussed their decision to do so.

Last year, the Grammy winner opened up about how their three kids 'grew up in another house' so they could give them a relatively normal upbringing as a music superstar.

'Except for a few guitars and a piano, you wouldn't know musicians lived here,' Springsteen said about his house in an interview with The Times in June 2025.

'The kids grew up in another house in town, a midsized home not unlike the ones their friends lived in, and we tried to keep a very natural domestic existence for them,' he continued. 'Anything else is a burden they don't need.'

Springsteen called himself an 'attention whore' at one point and said his children do not care about his music success and fame.

'They ignore it,' he told the outlet. 'They might come to a show, bring their friends, but it's never been a central part of their lives.'

Back in 2017, Springsteen also shared a similar sentiment and said his kids keep him humble.

'We had our kids late. I was 40 when our first son was born, and they showed a health disinterest in our work over all the years,' he told The New York Times nearly a decade ago.

'They had their own musical heroes, they had their own music they were interested in. They'd be pretty blank-faced if someone mentioned a song title of mine.'
