"Bummed" Ciara Miller Speaks Out After Shocking DWTS Elimination
Ciara Miller isn't ready to say goodbye to summer just yet.
Following her shockingly early elimination from Dancing With the Stars season 35, the Summer House star confessed she thought her stint on the ABC reality competition series would have lasted a lot longer than just four weeks.
"It’s just sad," Ciara shared during the Oct. 8 episode of DWTS' companion podcast. "Obviously loved being here. So fun, such a challenge and it was so nice getting to challenge myself every week and doing new things."
"I hate that it’s cut short," the 30-year-old added, "and just bummed."
Ciara then got teary-eyed while sharing her appreciation and gratitude for professional partner Brandon Armstrong.
"Brandon is really so patient and I don’t take for granted how annoying it is to probably have to basically carry someone around, essentially," the Bravo star reflected, "and teach them all the things and all the ropes. Even just having anxiety and that being so annoying sometimes, and he’s so patient and never made me feel bad about it."
And while they didn't win the Mirrorball Trophy, Brandon's ballroom mentorship did end up helping Ciara bounce back after being burned by ex West Wilson amid Summer House's season 10 love triangle scandal earlier this year.
"I, obviously, hate straight men," she quipped, "but I will say a part of that has been really healing and having a guy show up week after week. Even though it’s been a short process, to have someone be reliable and present and cheering you on, it’s hard to put into words. I feel like it was everything I needed right on time."

Brandon even joined Ciara on the podcast and delivered a public apology to her after they were sent home during the Oct. 6 episode.
Noting it wasn't the "ending that you would like to have on a journey that had so much progress," the 32-year-old said, "She has made a name, created a space for herself on a reality TV show in a field that you don’t get to show off a lot of depth of character. I think, within the first week, I very quickly realized how thoughtful she is about things and things that are very important in life."

"She deserves better out of this process," Brandon continued, "because of her character. I think it’s cool to see and I think it’s cool to show people a different side of her."

The Love Island UK alum is hoping her love for DWTS doesn't betray her as she manifested this experience.
"I have a vision board and I redo it every year," she told E! News in May. "This year is the first year that I stayed at home by myself on New Year's Eve. I did not go out at all. I made myself a bowl of pasta and a glass of red wine and I redid my vision board for the year. Dancing With the Stars was already on it from the year before. However, I added five more Dancing With the Stars on the board."
