Caitlin O’Connor is ringing in a new year with fiancé Joe Manganiello.
The television host shared exclusive details on how she celebrated her 37th birthday Aug. 3 alongside the Magic Mike actor, musing in a statement to E! News, “It was an amazing birthday.”
Indeed, O’Connor noted it “feels great” to turn a year older, revealing she spent the day in Pittsburgh, hitting up Mediterra—where their dog Bubbles has her own hot honey latte on the menu—for lunch and later a fancy dinner complete with a small birthday tart and wine.
O’Connor said the couple kept the festivities going all week, opting to see The Tempest at Quantum Theater behind a steel mill. The freshly 37-year-old also shared a glimpse into that date night on Instagram, quipping in the caption, “A very Pittsburgh date night.”
And it’s been a year worth celebrating for O’Connor and Manganiello, 49. In October, the True Blood alum—who was previously married to Sofia Vergara—popped the question after two years of dating.
“We’re just very happy,” O’Connor told E! News shortly after the engagement. "I'm very happy, taking it day by day.”
But while the pair is soaking in every moment of their engagement, O’Connor admitted she is already brainstorming ideas for their wedding.
"I'm just starting to do a little research, but I know that I will have a cookie table,” she explained. "It's a Pittsburgh tradition, and I love desserts, so that's the first thing that came to my mind, all of the cookies and snacks and treats that will be there.”

Trust, the duo’s dog will also be given a role of some kind.
“Bubbles goes everywhere,” O’Connor teased. “So you can imagine she will be.”
Although the Two and a Half Men alum and Manganiello only began dating in 2023, their upcoming wedding was practically written in the Pennsylvania stars. Indeed, O’Connor previously shared how it was their hometown that brought them together.

“We are both from Pittsburgh,” she told E! News in 2024. “I'm from Uniontown, which is about an hour and a half south of Pittsburgh, but we met in Los Angeles. I was at a party for Winning Time, and he was there.”
From there, it’s been a party ever since.
"We're always celebrating,” O’Connor added. “We're always having fun."
