Jennifer is a TV and Movie News Editor at ScreenRant. She started her journey in entertainment media in 2022 when she first joined Valnet at CBR before coming to ScreenRant.
Jennifer loves TV, especially science fiction. She also loves late-night talk shows, due to her insomnia. Alien: Earth is definitely one of her favorite shows, and she jumps on any chance she gets to write about it. Even on her days off, she will claim an Alien Earth article if one is available.
Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon are two of her favorite late-night hosts, and Conan O'Brien before he left his show.
Her Alien: Earth coverage for ScreenRant is by far the work that she is most proud of so far.
She was initially a finance and political editor, but her passion for pop culture convinced her to transition into entertainment journalism.
During her off time, she loves to binge-watch cooking shows such as Kitchen Nightmares. Jennifer also loves spending time with her daughter and cherishes every moment of it.
Prime Video has made a major decision regarding the future of its hit series, The Terminal List.
Chris Pratt is set to reprise his role as James Reece in Savage Son, an adaptation of Jack Carr's bestselling novel. Prime Video is currently developing the project, which is inspired by the third installment in Carr's book series. The show will bring Pratt back as the former Navy SEAL.
However, the streaming platform hasn't revealed how the adaptation will fit into The Terminal List franchise. It remains unclear whether Savage Son will serve as the third season of the hit series or become a separate series within the property, like the prequel The Terminal List: Dark Wolf.
The news from Deadline comes shortly after The Terminal List returned for its second season on October 21, 2026. The show's newest chapter adapts Carr's second novel, True Believer, continuing Reece's journey. The Terminal List season 1 debuted in July 2022 and followed the main character as he investigated the deaths of his fellow Navy SEALs and his family.
Published in April 2020, Savage Son follows James as he tries to rebuild his life after brain surgery. He returns to the Montana wilderness and tries to recover with the help of a journalist, Katie Buranekt, and his friend Raife Hastings. However, his attempts at a more peaceful life are short-lived as the enemies he has made throughout his life have decided to come after him.
The novel also introduces a former CIA officer who has betrayed his country by joining forces with the Russian Mafia. With Reece being a target, the situation became a major international conflict involving compromised government officials and dangerous criminal organizations. The story focuses on Reece's personal struggles alongside the international dangers and military action. It also continues developing his relationships with characters both old and new.
Although the Prime Video series is an adaptation of Savage Son, the streaming platform has not revealed how closely the upcoming show will follow the novel. Specific casting information beyond Pratt's role and story details has also not been released at the time of this article's publication.
According to Deadline, Peter Friedlander, Amazon MGM Studios' head of global television, expressed enthusiasm about continuing the franchise. In a new statement, Friedlander praised Carr's storytelling abilities, as well as Pratt's performance and the creative team. He also explained how Savage Son will be a very intense installment for The Terminal List franchise.
There is currently no official release date for Prime Video's adaptation of Savage Son.
