Comedian Druski doubles down on 'whiteface' controversy as he transforms into Theranos fraudster Elizabeth Holmes on SNL
Druski doubled down on his previous 'whiteface' controversies as he transformed into Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes as he took on hosting duties for the first time on the latest episode of SNL.
The 32-year-old comedian took part in a sketch which parodied the 2026 documentary You Can See Everything which saw Nathan Fielder visit Holmes in the weeks leading up to her serving time in U.S. federal prison for defrauding investors.
Druski, whose full name is Drew Desbordes, could be seen in a fake trailer for another version of the documentary which saw him also have a chance to spend time with Holmes and her partner Billy Evans.
SNL cast member Jane Wickline played Holmes in the skit titled Dru Can See Everything while Ben Marshall portrayed Evans.
Druski arrived to Holmes' residence as he sent her a friendly wave through a window as she looked wide-eyed at her laptop.
'We're so glad you're here,' Holmes later told Druski in the sketch. 'I just want people to see me as an ordinary person. Can you do that Druski?'

The comedian simply replied with, 'Based on what I've seen so far, I'm gonna go ahead and say no.'
The live audience let out laughs to the pre-recorded skit as Druski continued, 'Y'all got some of the weirdest, freakiest vibes I have ever seen.'
The clip cut to Druski and Holmes taking part in a serious conversation as he questioned her, 'Are you being real right now?'
'I'm always being real,' Holmes replied without blinking, which caused him to let out a nervous, 'Yeah.'
The dramatic music in the background suddenly stopped as the actor asked, 'Hold up. You trying to f*** me?'
The camera cut back to Holmes as she simply continued to stare at him with a wide-eyed, unblinking look.
A voiceover then explained that Druski also wanted to do re-enactments for the film 'to better understand his subjects.'
The comedian could be seen standing in front of a mirror while saying to himself, 'I just need to find somebody who could truly embody her character.'

Following a thoughtful pause, Druski slowly dragged his eyes up to fully look at himself in the reflection.
Some of the audience caught on to the next scene as some already let out laughs and a few screams.
The video then dramatically cut to Druski in full whiteface as he dressed up as Holmes himself, causing the crowd to burst out laughing.
'I'm always being real,' he told Holmes, and she replied with the same thing. The pair then repeated the same phrase back and forth.
Druski added, 'I can do this all day b****. You don't scare me.'
Fake negative reviews popped up onto the screen regarding Druski's documentary on Holmes.
The skit came to an end when Holmes' partner mistakenly thought that Druski was the real Holmes.
'All right, I'm gonna head on out. I'm in too deep,' the comedian said as he started to leave the house.
Druski also briefly referred to his past whiteface controversies during his SNL opening monologue, which saw Emma Stone making a surprise cameo.

At one point, he began listing out warnings that SNL gave him ahead of his hosting debut.
'There's just a few rules we got to go over. They said number one, no cussing. I cannot promise that,' he jokingly said.
'Number two, no whiteface. I also can't promise that,' Druski continued. 'That's about half the show right there!'
He also gushed that being on SNL was a 'huge moment' for him while giving a special shoutout to some of his family members in the audience.
Stone made a short cameo with the comedian on stage after the pair recently filmed the upcoming baseball romantic comedy titled The Catch, which is set to release next year in May 2027.
Druski was previously embroiled in controversy when he donned full whiteface for an online skit where he parodied Middle American NASCAR fans last year in September.
He had sported a fake mullet and beard, as well as a fake sunburn while attending a NASCAR event. The comedian completed the look with denim overalls and a cowboy hat.
Other attendees didn't seem to catch on to the disguise as he mingled with fans at the event.

However, some social media users took offense and slammed the star as 'racist' after the sketch was posted.
One wrote, 'white face not racist???' while another penned, 'How is this funny but black face is taboo?'
A fan shared, 'Listen this is hilarious but people used to get canceled for doing this the other way around. I think we're starting to notice what's really going on.'
Earlier this year in March, Druski donned whiteface again as he mocked Erika Kirk less than a year after the death of her husband Charlie Kirk.
He sparked outrage after donning prosthetics and whiteface, as well as a blonde wig and cross necklace for a video that was captioned, 'How Conservative Women in America act.'
The actor could be seen mocking viral videos of Erika during some of her public appearances.
'Thought you were funny before. This is just disgusting,' one viewer wrote at the time after the clip was shared, and another said, 'What a cruel, cruel, world we live in.'
One wrote, 'Reverse the races and you're a racist … but you’re black so you can’t be racist right? The good part is I don't find it racist nor do any other white folks, we’re not professional victims…we just find it not funny, stupid, disgusting and cruel.'

But some fans supported Druski and called out those slamming the skit.
'The same conservatives who claimed liberals can’t take a joke are very offended by this (hilarious) video,' one typed.
Druski currently boasts 13.6 million followers on Instagram where he actively posts on the platform.
And over on YouTube he has 6.1 million subscribers and nearly 16 million followers on TikTok.
