Cruz Beckham gets a dog with girlfriend Jackie Apostel as he finds a loyal new companion after Brooklyn snubbed the family in Paris

The Beckham family have been torn apart in recent months following Brooklyn's fallout with his parents and siblings. 

Yet Cruz Beckham revealed they've since added to the family with a guaranteed loyal companion – a labrador retriever. 

The musician, 21, shared the news in a joint Instagram post with girlfriend Jackie Apostel, sharing sweet snaps of the pair in bed with their golden puppy. 

Revealing their puppy's new name, Cruz simply captioned the snap: 'Sandy Jean Beckham.' 

Cruz's mum Victoria was quick to comment: 'Sooooo sweet!!! We love you Sandy!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,' while Jackie penned: 'ANGEL BABY.' 

Jackie, 30, also shared a sweet snap of Cruz cuddling Sandy in the morning. 

The Beckhams were no doubt pleased for the distraction of a new puppy amid growing tension with Brooklyn. 

On Friday, the whole family were in Paris to support Victoria at her Fashion Week show. 

All except Brooklyn – who did make the journey from America to France – but to attend a different show, with the aspiring chef sitting front row at the Balenciaga and MESSIKA presentations on Thursday. 

As Victoria hosted her show at the Conciergerie at 2 Boulevard du Palais on Friday night, Brooklyn and Nicola happened to be close to the Louvre. 

Those who know the family wonder whether Brooklyn and Nicola were revelling in their trip to the French capital and the calendar clash.

They point out that the pair’s Paris sojourn was documented by a photographer from their preferred paparazzi agency.

One source told the Daily Mail's Katie Hind: ‘It feels like there is some trolling going on. You have to wonder whether Nicola and Brooklyn are enjoying winding it all up. They made sure they were seen everywhere thanks to a certain pap firm. 

‘The irony of that, of course, is that Brooklyn has had a go at his parents for setting up picture opportunities when all of the hallmarks are there that they are doing it themselves.

‘It doesn’t matter what the distance between the two sides is, there is absolutely no chance of any olive branches or anyone making up any time soon.’

Following the show, Victoria appeared to allude to Brooklyn's absence in a post on Instagram where she said she felt 'so blessed' to have the rest of the family supporting her.

The fashion designer wrote: 'To my friends and family, I feel so blessed to have you all by my side xxx.' 

David also shared a post offering similar praise of his wife, writing: 'We are so proud of you, yet again you show your elegance, passion & beauty in how you want people to feel in your clothes. 

'We feel so lucky to be part of your beautiful night in a place that we love so much. Well done we couldn't be prouder ❤️ @victoriabeckham.'

Just hours before the show, David had offered one more olive branch to his son as he liked a video of Brooklyn and Nicola at the MESSIKA show – but clearly to no avail.

While he and wife Nicola were not there in summer, or indeed last year, just 24 hours before the couple had been partying just a little over a mile away at the Grand Palais.

While it is understood that Victoria didn't arrive in Paris until Friday, Brooklyn's brother Romeo, 24, was partying at the Plaza Athénée hotel alongside Spanish tennis champion Carlos Alcaraz just under a mile away.

But the siblings didn't run into one another, much to the relief of the family.

A source said: 'No good will come from them bumping into one another, relations are still devastatingly strained.

'Victoria's Paris Fashion weeks are very special to her, she loves celebrating her work and she loves having her family there, it means so much.

'Of course Brooklyn is missed, he is always missed from big Beckham get-togethers, he used to love them but he has chosen this to be the way it is.'

The last time Brooklyn and Nicola attended Victoria's fashion show was in September 2024, just months before the family feud broke out. 

The event was filmed for Victoria's Netflix show and the couple made a fleeting appearance.
