D&D confirms cast and release date for Dungeon Masters' second season
DM Jasmine Bhullar is back with her cast of misfit adventurers

After a successful debut with a Ravenloft campaign tied with the first big release in D&D's new seasonal model, Ravenloft: The Horrors Within, and a fun spin-off centered around a certain tentacle-faced elder god, Dungeon Masters will return this summer with a whole new set of episodes.
Campaign 2 of Dungeon Masters will debut on July 8 under the title Arcana Unleashed, meaning it will be a tie-in with the second D&D season of 2026, "Season of Magic," and its centerpiece product, Arcana Unleashed. This book will focus on magic and arcane subclasses, and the first trailer for Dungeon Masters Campaign 2 teases which of these subclasses have been chosen by the all-star cast of players: Devora Wilde will be playing an Arcane Archer fighter, Neil Newbon a Tattooed Warrior monk, Mayanna Berrin a Hexblade patron warlock, and Christian Navarro one of the four available wizard subclasses from the Unearthed Arcana arcane subclasses playtest material.
As the show is conceived as a spotlight for the biggest releases in D&D's calendar, this confirms that Arcana Unleashed will contain the definitive versions of these subclasses, likely along with those from the mystic subclasses supplement that appeared later in Unearthed Arcana, updating some popular options from the 3.5 edition era. Arcana Unleashed will be a player-centric supplement, focusing on rules and class options, but it will be accompanied by an adventure titled Arcana Unleashed: Deadfall, described as "D&D’s ultimate Red Wizards adventure, outlining an all-new Wizard War as well as a deep dive into the powerful magical society of Thay."
It would be a cool development if the cast led by DM Jasmine Bhullar becomes involved in this major conflict. Based on the trailer, the adventure takes place near the Anauroch desert, in the northern reaches of Faerûn, which is pretty far from Thay. However, Anauroch hides the relics of the powerful wizard empire of Netheril, so it's not unlikely that the party could meet some ill-intentioned Red Wizards there.
In an interview with Polygon earlier this month, Jasmine Bhullar teased her return to what she calls "her" show, so the choice of DM wasn't a surprise. However, Campaign 2 also confirms the return of all the members of the players' cast, who have quickly become fan-favorites. It's hard to compete with established actual play shows with massive fanbases like Critical Role, but Dungeon Masters is doing a great job of carving its own niche by providing genuine entertainment while also fulfilling its duty to advertise the latest official D&D releases.
Campaign 2 of Dungeon Masters will begin on July 8 at 6:30 p.m. PT. New episodes are released every Wednesday on the D&D YouTube channel.
