He enjoys discovering hidden gems and sharing them with Polygon's audience. Previously, he was the gaming editor for AIPT Comics and has written for other outlets like XDA, How-To Geek, and The List.

He enjoys soulslikes, character-driven RPGs, and third-person shooters plucked straight out of the Xbox 360 era. He also likes to flex his non-video game nerdy knowledge sometimes, whether that's explaining who's who in the new Wolverine game or recommending a comic book series about a sentient sword.

The first three episodes are on YouTube

WandaVision brought the Marvel Cinematic Universe to Disney Plus for the first time in 2021. It's the first in a trilogy of related shows, with Agatha All Along releasing in 2024 and VisionQuest closing the story out this month. Ahead of VisionQuest's Disney Plus premiere, Disney and Marvel are making the first three episodes of WandaVision available to watch for free on YouTube.

WandaVision caught up with Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) in the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame. She's living a quaint life in the suburbs with Vision (Paul Bettany), though there's certainly something fishy going on. Case in point: the last time viewers saw Vision, he died at the hands of Thanos (Josh Brolin) in Avengers: Infinity War, but he's alive and well on the show. WandaVision explores Wanda's grief through a series of episodes stylized after sitcoms from different decades.

.It's not clear if Disney plans to keep these episodes up on YouTube indefinitely or if they'll be pulled once VisionQuest gets rolling. Either way, it's a good opportunity to refresh your memory as to what Wanda and Vision were up to, or start watching the show for the first time. If you want to watch the rest, the full nine-episode season is on Disney Plus (which just got more expensive after another price hike).

VisionQuest premieres Oct. 14

VisionQuest is up next for the MCU. It'll follow the resurrected Vision from WandaVision as he tries to sort out just who he is. He'll work through that question with other AI characters at his side, like Ultron (James Spader) and Friday (Orla Brady).

As shown in the series' trailers, AIs like Ultron will show up with human appearances. Series showrunner Terry Matalas told Polygon that's not a budget decision, but because he wants to see actors like Spader emote and do other things a CGI robot couldn't do. "You'll get plenty of robot action in the show. The show is very much inspired by that last scene in Age of Ultron between the two of them. But watching Spader and Bettany chew up the scenery was something I saw in my head from the very beginning," Matalas said.

VisionQuest will stream exclusively on Disney Plus with a two-episode premiere on Oct. 14.
