The capital infusion is equally divided between two investors. Unusual Machines (UMAC) is contributing $5 million, while an undisclosed U.S. investment fund accounts for the remaining $5 million.

Shares are being issued at $5.35 each, matching Friday’s market close. This translates to approximately 1.87 million common shares being issued in the transaction.

The funding arrangement is expected to finalize on or before September 29, 2026. Completion remains subject to standard closing requirements and regulatory clearance.

Management intends to deploy the proceeds toward accelerating development of strategic initiatives. Additional funds will support general corporate operations as the company experiences rising product demand.

Strategic Partner with Political Ties

Unusual Machines counts Donald Trump Jr. among its advisory board members. The firm specializes in manufacturing drone motors and flight control systems.

Dr. Allan Evans, UMAC’s chief executive, indicated the investment will facilitate Draganfly’s production scaling efforts. He noted the deal should strengthen the existing supplier partnership between both organizations.

Draganfly CEO and Chairman Cameron Chell characterized the arrangement as strategically motivated beyond pure capital raising. He emphasized the focus on combining operational strengths to serve customers at greater scale across domestic and international markets.

The firm highlighted significant commercial and defense sector activity throughout North America. This includes recently achieved procurement contracts with the Canadian Armed Forces.

Draganfly also noted ongoing expansion within U.S. defense markets. The drone industry has attracted increasing investor attention as government entities increasingly adopt autonomous technologies.

Current Stock Performance and Outlook

Monday’s premarket advance notwithstanding, DPRO shares remain down approximately 23% for the year. The single-session gain hasn’t reversed the broader trend of weakness.

Wall Street analyst opinion presents a markedly different perspective than recent price action. TipRanks data reveals a Strong Buy consensus rating for DPRO, supported by four Buy recommendations.

The average analyst price target stands at $10 per share. This represents potential upside of roughly 87% from recent trading levels.

The most optimistic price target among covering analysts reaches $14. This figure represents the upper bound of current professional expectations.

This marks Draganfly’s second major capital raise in 2025. Earlier in February, the company completed a $50 million equity offering to support expansion initiatives and operational funding needs.

Monday’s announcement constitutes a registered direct offering. The transaction operates under an active shelf registration statement previously filed by Draganfly with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Jett Capital Advisors and Northland Capital Markets are acting as co-lead placement agents for the offering. Both investment banks are managing the share placement process.

Draganfly’s product portfolio serves diverse end markets, spanning military organizations, government entities, agricultural operations, and rural law enforcement agencies. The company has additionally provided drone systems to Ukraine for reconnaissance and humanitarian applications.
