Despite Game of Thrones' entire premise depending on the core Song of Ice and Fire prophecy from the A Song of Ice and Fire novels, there is great debate as to what this prophecy actually means. While both HBO's Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon have attempted to depict their version of The Song of Ice and Fire on screen, both the shows and books leave things quite ambiguous and leave a lot to the imagination.
While this is par for the course when it comes to George R.R. Martin's various mysteries in the world of Westeros and the larger Game of Thrones universe, fans are extremely eager to see how Martin himself handles the prophecy in Winds of Winter and Dream of Spring, if and when the final books are eventually completed.
Further, it will be interesting to see how upcoming adaptations such as the Aegon's Conquest film handles the prophecy as well, and whether it will differ from Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, or what's detailed in the A Song of Ice and Fire novels already. Fortunately, fans will be able to dive deeper with The Song of Ice & Fire, which officially arrives on August 18 (via GoTC).
The Song of Ice & Fire is an exciting upcoming PvE event in the highly rated free-to-play Game of Thrones: Conquest 4X strategy game, officially running from August 18 to August 20 this month. It is just one of several planned PvE and PvP events slated for an August release, including the recent Dawn of the Dance, The Dragon Pit, and more.
In Conquest, PvE events generally revolve around fighting game-controlled creatures as opposed to other players, while event-specific enemies appear for players to hunt. You'll also be able to earn points and rewards tied to defeating these unique enemies.

The standard creature system uses stamina and troops, and PvE-specific gear and buffs become available during these limited events as well, though it isn't clear exactly what specific gear or enemies will be part of The Song of Ice & Fire event later this month. That said, you can join the official Conquest Discord to learn more, as well as get regular updates on any upcoming patches or content rollouts.
While Game of Thrones: Conquest has been around for almost a decade now, releasing back in 2017, Warner Bros. Games just released yet another critically acclaimed mobile game called Game of Thrones: Dragonfire which offers a completely different experience. Both games feature tie-ins from both HBO's hit shows, Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon, with regularly announced special events, returning beloved characters, and more.
