Gemma Owen channels country chic before slipping into a sexy backless cut out gown as she models her debut Lipsy London collection

Gemma Owen looked incredible in a series of country-inspired outfits as she launched her debut Lipsy London collection on Thursday.

The Love Island star, 23, clearly took inspiration from her equestrian background as she modelled a smart double-breasted blazer while posing with a horse.

Gemma put on a leggy display in a £40 pleated checked skort which she paired with a matching cinched-waist £72 blazer.

The TV personality later slipped into evening attire as she showed off her amazing figure in a stylish black backless dress which boasted racy lace cut outs.

The daughter of former footballer Michael Owen made sure her AW26 collection was filled with cosy jumpers including a £42 horse-printed one as well as a V-neckline lace detail one.

Turning up the heat, Gemma also modelled a daring £42 black sheer blouse with a pair of £52 velvet high-waisted trousers.

The reality star showed off her amazing figure in two brown slinky dresses as she posed up a storm for photos in an elegant Georgian house.

Gemma's autumn collection, which is dropping on September 17, wouldn't be complete without jackets and she has pulled out all the stops in a stylish £69 green cord funnel-neck bomber.

Keeping with the green theme, the influencer looked sensational in a faux-leather belted jacket as she posed next to a vintage brown Porsche 911.

For her final outfit Gemma threw on an elegant long brown belted coat over a pair of jeans as she posed in front of the lavish home and her horse.

It comes after Gemma and her parents Michael and Louise hit back at 'boring' claims during a TV appearance on BBC Breakfast as they launched their family documentary series last month.

As the family appeared on the show to promote Prime Video series Meet the Owens they hit back at claims Michael – who now runs stables and owns racehorses – is boring.

Michael said: 'My kids always say 'dad everyone thinks you're dead boring''.

Gemma then added: 'I like that people can see a different side to dad in the documentary. He is funny and entertaining. Everyone thinks that he is boring but I think they will see a different side to him.'

On why he wanted to do the documentary he added: 'The idea for the show started as let's promote the stables but the more the cameras are around, the more you get friendly with the crew and then it all just becomes part of your life and you forget they're there.

'We didn't want it to be scripted we wanted it to be authentic. It's been a big change from football to working with horses and it's been loads of fun.'

Michael recently opened up about his financial struggles after swapping his lucrative football career for the risky business of owning racehorses.

At the peak of his career, Michael was paid roughly £110,000 a week when he played for Newcastle United between 2005 and 2009.

Yet after hanging up his boots in 2013, Michael switched to a less stable income – taking a gamble on owning racehorses.

While the former striker is said to have an impressive net worth of £54.4million, he confessed that he has to be careful with his finances now after purchasing Manor House Stables in Cheshire, where he breeds and trains racehorses.

Speaking candidly about his new career on his reality series, Michael confessed: 'The biggest challenge is the financial side.

'It's a bloody hard business and I can't keep haemorrhaging money.'

Discussing his retirement from football, Michael mused: 'All of a sudden you're living under your wife's feet and you're settling into a new life.

'Retiring from football you no longer feel so valued, loved. There were feelings of adulation constantly, like a drug and you want to make people happy.

'When you're winning trophies all the time and scaring the s**t out of defenders that's what gave me my buzz.

'Injuries made me 50 percent of the player that I was, I was almost embarrassed to walk out with my name on my back so I was desperate to retire.

'And that's pretty sad, when you just don't enjoy your job. I've come to realise I need a purpose in life.'

Michael, who bought his first racehorse at age 18 after returning from the 1998 World Cup, decided then to make horseracing his full-time career.

Showing off her incredible figure, Gemma stunned in a patterned blouse which she tucked into a pair of high waisted flared jeans

Dressing to impress, the Love Island star wowed in a brown long sleeved dress and heels

The TV personality turned heads in a sheer black lace shirt and pencil skirt

The star also showed off an elegant white jumper with eye catching buttons

To complete the collection, Gemma modelled a white lace jumper and matching trousers

Yet he confessed that the business is a struggle, given the unpredictability, and the fact that he's going against people 'who have much bigger pockets than me'.

One episode of the series showed Michael going to auction to buy horses, where he explained that he would often be outbid by members of foreign royal families and dignitaries.

'My sweet spot with horses is anything between £30,000 and £100,000,' he explained, before telling wife Louise he spent £273,000 buying three horses that day.

Louise, 46, expressed her frustration at her husband's business, confessing: 'Michael doesn't tell me anything so I have to trust he's in control.'

She later added: 'Michael is very odd about spending money.

'He won't think twice about spending money on a horse, but if the kids leave a light on in the house he will hit the roof!

'Or if I want to redecorate the bathroom because the paint is falling off the wall he'll be like, 'is that really necessary?''
