Genshin Impact's "Luna 8" (aka version 6.7) patch is on the horizon, continuing the Nod-Krai story arc, as the Traveler will head to the moon on a spaceship. (My, my, how far we've come in Genshin Impact.)

Below, we explain when Genshin Impact maintenance starts and ends, alongside the release time of version 6.7. We’ve also added some details about what to expect from Genshin Impact version "Luna 8."

What time does Genshin Impact go down for maintenance?

Genshin Impact will go down for maintenance on Tuesday, June 30, or Wednesday, July 1 (depending on your time zone) at the following times and will be unavailable for approximately five hours:

  • 3 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, June 30 for the west coast of North America
  • 6 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, June 30 for the east coast of North America
  • 7 p.m. BRT on Tuesday, June 30 for Brazil
  • 11 p.m. BST on Tuesday, June 30 for the U.K.
  • 12 a.m. CEST on Wednesday, July 1 for western Europe
  • 7 a.m. JST on Wednesday, July 1 for Japan
  • 8 a.m. AEST on Wednesday, July 1 for the east coast of Australia

Make sure to burn your resin before maintenance starts, if you wanted to. Keep in mind that the new battle pass will start once the patch goes live, so you may want to save some of your stamina to get a jump on new weeklies and tasks.

The servers may come up early or late, depending on how maintenance goes, but these are the approximate times "Luna 8" should go live. Usually Hoyoverse is pretty good by abiding by maintenance times. We don’t usually get extended maintenance, but it does end early sometimes!

What’s new in Genshin Impact version 'Luna 8?'

In this upcoming patch, the Traveler will travel to the moon, which has seemingly been turned into a weapon, on their spaceship. Additionally, Sandrone, a new five-star Cryo character, will become playable as part of this patch. Sandrone is one of the Fatui Harbingers, so folks who wanted to collect the Harbingers will definitely want to log in this patch.

Citali will also get a rerun during this patch, and another gacha banner will run, featuring a somewhat random assortment of characters and their weapons: Yumemizuki Mizuki, Wriothesley, Cyno, Yae Miko, and Qiqi.
