Gracie Abrams is called out as 'weird and unnecessary' for posting a photo of Taylor Swift's ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn alongside a snap of her wedding outfit (which he then likes!)

Gracie Abrams has ruffled feathers after she uploaded an image of Taylor Swift's ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn in a post about what she wore to her wedding. 

Swifties called out the singer, 26, in the comments as they branded the move to include a photo of Joe 'weird and unnecessary'. 

Over the weekend, Taylor married Travis Kelce, both 36, in a star-studded wedding extravaganza at Madison Square Garden, New York with 1,000 guests. 

Gracie received a coveted invite to the celebrations and looked incredible in a shimmering Chanel dress.

But bizarrely, while sharing a behind-the-scenes look at her wedding guest look, Gracie also uploaded a photo of Joe from the 2018 film The Favourite. 

The snap was an action scene of Joe and his co-star Emma Stone and there was no explanation as to why she included it. 

Joe, 35, liked the post which confused fans even more. 

They wrote in the comments: 'How do you go to her wedding then post about her ex? No congratulations.'

'Joe liking the post knowing that the first pic was Gracie's outfit was from Taylor's wedding'

Joe and Taylor were in a relationship for over six years, from late 2016 until their split in early 2023. 

The singer started dating Travis over the summer of that year and they got engaged two years later. 

Meanwhile Gracie and Taylor have been friends for a few years. The singer opened Taylor's Eras Tour and the two collaborated on the hit song 'Us'. 

Taylor and Travis' wedding was full of actors, movie moguls, sports stars and supermodels. 

Musicians including Jack Antonoff, Dua Lipa, Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran, Camila Cabello and the Haim sisters were also in attendance.
