As you acquire S-ranks, you'll unlock access to an "S" labelled door that, upon entering, unveils a secret minigame containing special items. Below are the three initial items you'll find: Ice Key (After round one) Shelter Key (After round two) Shadow Mantle (After round three) Finding the first two keys lets you eventually find the Shadow Mantle, which you'll need to equip to survive against the chapter's secret boss, the Knight. Otherwise, anyone not wearing it will be continuously wiped out with a one-hit attack. You'll need to survive the battle and, after some time, inflict one final attack to receive your prize. You also won't have Susie or Ralsei to help you during the initial minigame. You, playing as Kris, will have to complete each segment of the minigame by yourself with no outside help. However, it mirrors the first round's map, making it easy to traverse if you have it fresh in your mind. Finding the S-rank room's minigame Before you can access the secret ending, you'll need to achieve your first S-rank and unlock the "S" labelled door on the top-right side of the Green Room. If you finish round one and receive an S-rank, head through this door to find a run-down set of dressing rooms, with the secret minigame room to your left. Screenshot by Destructoid Entering this room will reveal an "original" minigame that came before the version you played on Tenna's show. At first, you won't have a controller to play it, but leaving the room will reveal an "Odd Controller" on the floor. Pick it up and return to the previous room to start playing the original minigame. If you didn't achieve an S-rank initially, you have two options: replay this part of the chapter until you get one, or pay 1,500 points to the Point Merchant south of the Green Room. If you have 1,500 points, head out of the Green Room's south exit and follow the hallway until you find a golden Tenna statue. Turning right here will lead you to the merchant, who'll let you achieve S-rank immediately in exchange for 1,500 points. Now, you can access the "S" room without any issues. Finding the Ice Key During this first minigame, you'll play as Kris only, with no Susie or Ralsei to follow you. The map is almost identical to the one you played during the chapter's first round. Rather than exploring a map to get points, though, your job is to level up Kris by defeating enemies so you can be strong enough to find the Ice Key. What's the catch, then? you don't have a sword to fight them with. At least, not at first. You can find a sword by heading south from the map's entrance until you see a fish in a pond. From here, head left, south twice, east, then south one last time to find a staircase leading to your sword. With your new weapon in hand, it's time to grind levels. Defeating every enemy on the map, including fish, flowers, and those odd purple guys, will bring you to level three. Once you hit level three, head to the easternmost side of the map to find a long path leading to two cactus. By this point, you'll be strong enough to cut this down, letting you explore a new region and defeat its enemies for your final level. Standing in front of where the cactuses were, use your newfound strength to cut through the trees directly south of you. How to find Deltarune Chapter 3's secret ending
Uncovering Deltarune's Chapter 3 secret ending requires getting three S-ranks during Tenna's game show. As you acquire S-ranks, you'll unlock access to an "S" labelled door that, upon entering, unveils a secret minigame containing special items.
Below are the three initial items you'll find:
- Ice Key (After round one)
- Shelter Key (After round two)
- Shadow Mantle (After round three)
Finding the first two keys lets you eventually find the Shadow Mantle, which you'll need to equip to survive against the chapter's secret boss, the Knight. Otherwise, anyone not wearing it will be continuously wiped out with a one-hit attack. You'll need to survive the battle and, after some time, inflict one final attack to receive your prize.

Finding the S-rank room's minigame
Before you can access the secret ending, you'll need to achieve your first S-rank and unlock the "S" labelled door on the top-right side of the Green Room. If you finish round one and receive an S-rank, head through this door to find a run-down set of dressing rooms, with the secret minigame room to your left.

You'll need to continue this until you pass through around four to five screens. After some time, you'll find a treasure chest containing the Ice Key, knocking out the first of three items required to find Deltarune Chapter 3's secret ending and boss.
Finding the Shelter Key
Now that you have the Ice Key, it's time to play Tenna's game show again. Like before, you'll need to achieve S-rank in this second round to access the minigame room again. If you don't get S-rank, you can pay an additional 1,500 points to rank up again.
Once you complete the second round and arrive back in the Green Room, go back to the "Original" minigame and have Kris play it. This time, the map will change to the one you were just playing during round two.
Like before, your goal is to defeat enemies until you achieve max level. However, in this case, you'll only need to reach level two before venturing off to another part of the map and completing the rest of the game.
To get started, follow the following path left across two screens before running north along the river. You'll find a cave entrance containing your sword, allowing you to defeat any enemies you encounter. Travel around the area and eliminate enemies until you reach level two so you can break ferns.
With this plant-destroying power unlocked, head to the pond with three raft platforms and four ferns blocking a waterfall. Hop on the raft and destroy these plants before traveling up the waterfall. Heading directly north will bring you out of a cave, where you'll ride another raft directly northwest for several screens.
From here, head west until there's no longer yellow-orange stones along the top of your screen before traveling directly north. After several screens, you'll find white rocks in the water, prompting you to go left again. After going west and north one last time, you'll spot a wooden platform along the rocks, letting you dock your raft and travel to your right. Keep running right until you spot grey rocks on the right side of your screen before going north along the white rocks.
Now that you're done the difficult part of navigating, break the fern and head inside. Defeat every enemy you find until you're close to level four. You'll spot a white creature alongside text saying "the forbidden path began with ice magic." If you know, you know. Defeat this creature to reach max level, letting you leave the room, travel north in the room with the central pond, and destroy the bright orange barriers to find an ice mage. Use this ice mage to freeze enemies, push them onto blue buttons to unlock doorways, and traverse through the dungeon.
After some time, you'll find what appears to be a four-way endless maze. The key to solving this is to run a few tiles past an intersection and see if the ice mage follows you. If they don't, it's not the correct direction. If they do, continue along that path, repeating these steps several times until you reach the end. At the end, you'll find a doorway into a dark abyss.
Going directly north in this room will bring you right to a sparkling light. Interact with it to obtain the Shelter Key, knocking out two of the three items required to unlock Deltarune's Chapter 3 secret ending. You'll then need to repeat this one last time just before taking on the chapter's final storyline boss to get the Shadow Mantle, giving you enough protection to take on the Knight.
