The Grammy-winning artist donned a black shirt with a graphic that read 2Pac, a nod to her late Poetic Justice costar Tupac Shakur, as part of her tribute to her late brother, whose biopic she was not involved with or depicted in.
She donned a white dress shirt underneath with baggy pinstripe gray pants and a black hat with a feather and veil.
The Gary, Indiana-born entertainer accessorized with a black leather belt with silver embellishments, and silver bracelets and rings.

Filmmaker Antoine Fuqua acknowledged Janet's exclusion from the movie at the premiere.
'I have so much respect and love for Janet, but you know it’s OK,' he said.
Fuqua told the outlet that Janet had been 'supportive of' nephew Jaafar Jackson as he tackled the title role in the film.
The filmmaker said it had been 'very important' that the family be interactive in the process of telling the King of Pop's story on the silver screen.
'You’re telling somebody’s life, you want to make sure that they’re happy,' he said.
During the award show, Janet Jackson received a standing ovation prior to presenting the honor to Taylor.
Taylor embraced the music legend before hailing her as one of her biggest inspirations.
'They did not tell me Janet was coming,' Taylor said through tears. 'There will be no me without you.'

The Icon of the Year Award recognizes a creative force whose influence is shaping culture.
Taylor has evolved from a multi-platinum recording artist into an award-winning actor, director, producer and choreographer.
Accepting the honor, Taylor reflected on her two-decade career.
'I worked [hard for] 20 years,' she said. 'So I'm not accepting what I've earned with arrogance. I'm accepting what I've earned with gratitude.'
