Jesy Nelson's ex Zion Foster went on holiday on his own for his birthday this week - as she went public with her new man Ben Davies.

Over the weekend former Little Mix star Jesy, 35, went public on a date Ben - who is a landscape gardener from Essex and the ex boyfriend of TOWIE star Lydia Bright.

However their London date night was thwarted on Saturday when Ben reportedly got them kicked out of London rooftop bar during aggressive altercation with bouncers.

Staying far away from his ex's drama, musician Zion made a trip abroad to celebrate turning 27 and shared some snaps from the getaway to his Instagram Story.

The post showed Zion - who shares 15-month-old twin daughters Ocean and Story with Jesy - relaxing at the beach, enjoying a birthday cake and reading his book.

He simply penned: '+1' in the caption of his upload as his pals wished him a happy birthday in the comments.  

Jesy's date night with her new boyfriend Ben was thwarted in London on Saturday when they were reportedly ejected from a swanky bar.

She was pictured for the first time with the landscape gardener, with whom she was putting on a romantic display. 

They started the evening with a quiet trip to My Old Dutch Pancake House before heading to Madison in St Paul's bar, where The Sun report a fracas ensued. 

In video obtained by the publication, a large group were involved in a rumble after Ben was said to be 'getting in people's faces' after which they were asked to leave and 'the situation became quite heated with the men shouting at bouncers'. 

The insider insisted Jesy was trying to 'deescalate the situation', while Ben was said to be 'coming across like a, 'Do you know who I am?'.'

The Daily Mail has contacted Jesy's representatives for comment.   

Jesy looked stunning for the day out despite the drama as she sported a bra top and cycling shorts while Ben went for a white tee with a Goyard clutch bag. 

Earlier this month, Jesy teased a look at Ben as she showed the tattooed arm of a man in the far left-hand side of an image posted to Jesy's Instagram Stories as the pair enjoyed drinks in a swanky rooftop garden.

The couple have now enjoyed their hard-launch during their date in Soho, where they could not take their hands off one another. 

The altercation was no doubt an unpleasant addition to a rare day off from parenting for Jesy, who is currently tirelessly campaigning to raise awareness for Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1 (SMA).

Ocean and Story were diagnosed with the rare muscle-wasting condition in January, shortly before Jesy and Zion announced they had split.  

In her recent Amazon Prime documentary, Jesy spoke about the split in detail saying: 'It's a very traumatic thing that we've both been through. I think it's quite inevitable for things like this to happen to couples I don't think it's a shock that we've broken up...

'You'll either be a team or it'll tear you apart and unfortunately I feel that's what it's done to me and Zion. We still get on, there's not bad feeling. My main priority is them. I just want to be the best mum with the best energy and positivity possible...

'The house was not like that when we were together. We're both dealing with this situation completely differently, and together we were clashing. I decided we would be better off apart. It's hard. It's just me and mum now.'

SMA can leave babies unable to sit up, crawl or walk. In the most severe cases, it stops them breathing or swallowing but caught early enough treatment can significantly improve outcomes for affected children.

Testing works through a simple heel prick to collect a small sample of blood from the baby, taken shortly after birth.

Explaining how proud she is that her daughters' story has paved the way for change, Jesy continued: 'I feel super proud that my girls' story has been a part of change and I can't wait when they're a bit older and they understand to be able to tell them that.

'I've always said I want this to be their little superpower and I feel now, when they understand, I can let them know that.'

After the initial decision in Parliament last month, Jesy was seen fighting back tears as she told interviewers: 'I'm going to be completely honest, I was absolutely fuming. I feel so let down.' 

And reflecting on the emotional day she told the Daily Mail: 'I'm such a big manifester. I really believe if you put your mind to it and you put it out there you can make it happen. 

'But I think obviously when I went to Parliament and they said that they weren't going to roll it out across the whole UK, I was devastated. I was absolutely devastated.'
