Jesy Nelson's ex Zion Foster says his 'heart is bleeding' as he hits back at 'deadbeat dad' jibes in new track Life Goes On about twin girls' health battles
Jesy Nelson's ex Zion Foster has said his 'heart is bleeding' as he hits back at 'deadbeat dad' jibes in new track Life Goes On about twin girls' health battles.
Zion split from the Little Mix singer, 35, earlier this year, shortly after she announced that their twins Ocean and Story had been diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1 (SMA).
Zion has now released his new single which he insisted is the 'first and last time saying my peace'.
He raps that he has to 'pick my battles because the system aint going to help me through this fight' and that he is 'hurt to the core' but is blocking out 'all this noise on social media'.
Zion says: 'The real truth aint going to hit the surface, cause I aint going to put my babies through that, got the receipts in my phone and notepad, why would I save myself and put my girls through that pain as well.'
He continued by adding that social media is 'not real' and 'I'm working everyday to put food on them plates'.

Elsewhere on the track, the father-of-two added that he has 'called a lawyer' and is 'mad at the way he's treated and his hearts bleeding'.
He sings in the chorus: 'Life goes on, we keep on moving, life goes on, we keep on cruising. Tore my heart and I'm a man and put my logic first, you know I'm coming first.'
Daily Mail have contacted Jesy's representatives for comment.
The new track comes days after Zion hit back at claims he's a 'deadbeat dad' just hours after hard-launching his new girlfriend.
It was then revealed that the rapper is dating a woman known only as Sav, and the pair had even gotten matching tattoos – after it emerged that Jesy is in a new relationship.
However, after going Instagram official with a video of him looking loved up with his new girl, Zion received backlash from a follower in response to his caption which read: 'It’s crazy how so many people are triggered seeing me happy.'
One person commented: 'Nothing wrong with being happy, more about being a deadbeat dad that triggers people hun x.'
The father-of-two was quick to snap back at the naysayer – and share the exchange on his stories – with Zion fuming: 'You've seen 15 seconds of my life and decided what kind of father I am. you don't know my story.'
Zion was also forced to shut down a comment accusing him of abandoning his daughters when he discovered their condition.
The message said: 'How can you be happy when you have two beautiful daughters you don't see or care for!!! Like soon as you discovered their illness you were off!! Sorry but you don't deserve happiness.'
To which he sharply replied: 'My daughters aren't a talking point.'

However, amid the negative comments, Zion was supported by several of his followers, who slammed haters for judging him without knowing the truth.
They penned: 'You've both parted ways both got new partners and both are still parents....who cares? Some people judge way too much.'
'Why can’t people just accept that they’ve both moved on and they can both still parent the girls and have happy lives.'
'It’s actually mad that you think you know his life!! You have no idea what he does or doesn’t do for them babies. People are allowed to move on and find their happiness.'
It comes after it was revealed that Zion had found love again, months after splitting from the Little Mix star.
He had flown to Portugal for a holiday in August, and while originally it was thought he'd made the trip solo, he was joined by Sav during the getaway.
He appeared to 'soft launch' the relationship by captioning his post '+1', and he and Sav have since changed their profile pictures to solo shots from the same location.
Last month, Jesy unveiled her new relationship to the showbiz world by bringing her boyfriend Ben Davies as her date to the National Television Awards.
Jesy previously 'hard launched' her new relationship with Ben by sharing the first photo of him on her Instagram page at the end of August.
Zion's backlash comes after Jesy's devoted fans have leapt to her defence after she enjoyed a romantic trip to Paris with her new boyfriend without her twin babies.
The hitmaker and her new man jetted off to the French capital after it was revealed that she had 'pulled out' of a six-figure deal to appear on the next series of I'm A Celebrity.
And while the star looked happier than ever in the snaps, some followers took umbrage at Jesy holidaying without her daughters, both of whom suffer with SMA and need round-the-clock medical care.
One person cruelly remarked: 'I’d be spending all my time with my children not some guy that’ll last a few months….', causing Jesy to hit back, writing: 'oh Sami hun have a day off.'
While other similar mean-spirited comments included: 'Just a bit soon.. not to mention their prognosis could be literal years.. yea id wait to find love...she's not 60 ffs
'Kids come first' 'Concentrate on those children.'

However, Jesy's army of admirers furiously slammed the naysayers for their comments, remarking that Jesy and other mums deserve happiness as well as a break from parenting.
Taking to the comments, they penned: 'Mums can't pour from an empty cup, especially those who have twin babies with complex needs. A happy Jesy = an even better Mummy
'People are hating but they don’t realise how much you actually go through on a day to day. enjoy your happiness my darling i’m happy you met someone who makes you smile
'Can we please as women and mums please see the joy in their faces and see and feel nothing but happiness and love for them. I am absolutely without a doubt 100% sure she puts her girls first. You look so happy ♥️♥️ he is a lucky man ♥️
'Jeez some of these comments… Mums are allowed time off also, dads get plenty to themselves!!! Keep smiling Jesy and keep loving life you deserve happiness.'
'Woooow some of these comments did not pass the vibe check, so because her children have the condition they have, that means jesy can’t find love? Behave yourselves, your bitterness is showing.'
