Logies-nominee Julia Morris was left red-faced on Saturday afternoon as she showed up for the A-list ceremony at The Star Sydney a day early.

The former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Australia co-host, 58, shared an amusing clip to Instagram capturing her blunder.

Julia stunned as she provided a sneak peek of the radiant strapless cream sequinned gown she will be wearing to the ceremony on Sunday night, as she told fans she had gotten confused over the dates.

'Guys, I've made a terrible mistake! Apparently the Logies is tomorrow. I'm literally the only one here!' Julia explained in the clip, as she showcased the empty theatre ahead of Sunday's big night.

'Until tomorrow... the Logies is not today!' an embarrassed Julia quipped, as she laughed at the camera.

Meanwhile, Julia's former IAC co-host Robert Irwin, 22, shared some photos to social media which captured the dapper look he would be sporting to the ceremony ahead of his hosting gig.

Robert looked every inch the dapper gentleman in a tailored tuxedo consisting of a striking white blazer, crisp matching dress shirt and black pants.

He completed his slick monochromatic look with a black bow tie as he looked dapper for the camera.

'Suited up and ready to host Australia’s biggest TV awards, see you for the Logies August 16!' Robert told fans.

Julia and Robert have both been nominated for the Bert Newton Award for Most Popular Presenter for their work on the former Channel Ten series I'm A Celebrity..., which is moving to Channel Seven next year.

While many viewers at home believe every celebrity spends the night sipping champagne inside the Logies ballroom, the reality behind television's biggest night is far more chaotic.

At least for Channel Nine stars, that is.

The Daily Mail can reveal a carefully choreographed 'musical chairs' operation takes place behind the scenes each year, with many of Nine's biggest reality personalities spending surprisingly little time inside the official ceremony.

Stars from The Block, Married At First Sight and Travel Guides may arrive in full black-tie glamour and pose for photographs on the red carpet, but insiders say many will be quietly ushered out of Star Sydney's ballroom shortly after dinner begins. The reason? There simply aren't enough seats.

With Logies tickets among the most sought-after invitations in Australian television, network bosses are forced to get creative to accommodate their ever-expanding roster of talent.

Sources tell the Daily Mail that reality stars are typically brought into the ballroom for dinner, served a single course, then discreetly escorted out before the ceremony gets fully underway.

Instead, they are relocated to Nine's exclusive Logies viewing party at a nearby restaurant, where they watch the remainder of the awards alongside network executives and invited guests.

'It's basically one course and then out,' one television insider said.

'There simply aren't enough seats in the ballroom for everyone Nine wants there, so the reality stars rotate between the official ceremony and the network's viewing party.'

The unusual arrangement helps explain why cast members from Nine franchises are almost always spotted seated together at tables positioned at the very back of the room.
