Major Streaming Service Officially Raises Prices Today For 4th Time In 4 Years

Disney+ is becoming more expensive.
Disney+'s movie and TV show library is ruled by franchises. Subscribers can find on the streaming service both theatrical releases in franchises like the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Star Wars, as well as original Disney+ shows in both of those popular universes. Among Disney+'s biggest releases are projects like Marvel's WandaVision and Loki, with Star Wars contributing to the streamer's growth through shows like Pedro Pascal's The Mandalorian and Diego Luna's gritty spy thriller Andor. Disney+ is also the home to franchises like James Cameron's Avatar, the animated Toy Story, the fantasy series Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and more.
As revealed by a new Bloomberg report, Disney+ Premium, which is the streamer's plan without ads, is moving from $18.99 to $21.49 per month. This is the fourth time in as many years that Disney+ has increased its prices. The streaming service's tier with ads is currently priced at $11.99. Also suffering a new price hike are the Hulu Premium plan, following the equivalent Disney+ tier, going from $18.99 to $21.49 per month, and the Disney+/Hulu Premium Bundle, which gives subscribers access to both streaming services' libraries for $21.99 per month, going up from its previous $19.99 price tag.
