MasterChef Australia power couple Declan Cleary and Sarah Todd who fell in love on the show return to introduce their twin babies

MasterChef Australia has seen one very magical love story blossom. 

And on Sunday night, power couple Declan Cleary and Sarah Todd, who fell in love on series 17 of the cooking show, returned with their twin baby girls. 

Sarah, 38, and Declan, 29, introduced the world to their babies, Charlotte and Claudia, who were 11 weeks old at the time the episode was filmed. 

The pair have gone from strength to strength since meeting on the show, becoming engaged and welcoming the twins at Christmas. 

They gave an update on their new life as parents to the delighted 2026 cast.  

'They are identical twins. We're so happy. It really does feel like a full circle moment,' Sarah said. 

'I think this kitchen has changed my life in so many ways and this one's the biggest for sure.'

Declan said that he was absolutely loving life as a new father. 

'It's the absolute best. I think I was put on this planet to be a dad, especially a twin girl dad,' he said. 

'They're just so precious. I wake up every day feeling blessed.'

The pair, who welcomed Claudia and Charlotte on Christmas Eve, have yet to go Instagram official with engagement news - but have dropped several big hints that they plan to wed.

The fan favourites met while filming MasterChef: Back to Win in 2024 and went public with their romance early in 2025.

Queenslander Sarah, who is already mum to son Phoenix, 14, moved to Melbourne to be with Declan after their whirlwind romance.

Sarah shares son Phoenix with ex-fiancé Devinder Garcha. 

The couple previously said they felt 'deeply blessed' knowing their babies would be entering a world already brimming with 'so much love'. 

They gushed that there was 'no shortage of cuddles, laughter, and warmth waiting to welcome the additions to our family.'

'Our hearts are full to the brim, and we couldn't be happier to finally share this joy with all of you,' they wrote on social media. 

The pair live together in Melbourne, where they enjoy life as a blended family alongside Phoenix and their dog Sol.
