Mel B, 51, plants a kiss on husband Rory McPhee, 38, as she enjoys some backstage PDA at America's Got Talent final

Mel B didn't hold back as the couple packed on the PDA with her husband Rory McPhee while backstage at the America's Got Talent final on Tuesday.

The couple tied the knot just over a year ago, however it seems love is still very much in the air as the Spice Girl, 51, planted a big kiss on Rory's cheek.

Mel made sure to dress up for the occasion as she turned heads in a highly decorative gold, red and orange patterned fitted dress, complete with mesh side panels.

Meanwhile her husband, 38, kept it casual in a short sleeved white shirt and beige chinos.

Mel was joined on the AGT's red carpet alongside her fellow judges Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara. 

Simon Cowell had to withdraw from filming following back surgery, with KSI stepping in as a guest judge to replace him. 

Simon broke his back in 2020 after being thrown off an electric bike when he was testing the vehicle at his home in Malibu, California.

He underwent extensive surgery after the shock accident including having a metal rod put in his back to stabilise it and he has overhauled his lifestyle in the years since.

Mel and Rory's most recent PDA display comes after they were seen together on a morning hike out in LA last week. 

Relishing the LA sunshine, Scary Spice stripped down to a bright pink bikini, showing off her impressive physique as she danced her way down a hiking trail with her shirtless husband Rory.

Mel took the lead, striding and dancing ahead of Rory as she listened to music and belted out some of her favourite lyrics.

She shared an Instagram video shot by Rory as she danced down the trail, revealing she was getting 'show ready'.

Her hairdresser husband has joined her in the States as she works on AGT, but the couple, along with her three children Phoenix, 27, Angel, 19 and Madison, 14, now call Yorkshire home.

Mel has told how she has come 'full circle' after growing up in a council house in Leeds before travelling the world to international acclaim and relocating to America, before returning to her Yorkshire roots with the purchase of her dream home last year.

After finding fame with the Spice Girls Mel moved to the States and had a relationship with actor Eddie Murphy, father of her daughter Angel, before going on to marry film producer Stephen Belafonte in Las Vegas in June 2007.

The couple bought a vast home in the Hollywood Hills, with a cinema, recording studio, a chef's kitchen, gym, games room and a swimming pool overlooking the LA skyline.

But the 10-year marriage ended in a bitter divorce and the warring couple put the home up for sale for £6.8million. Despite an opulent refurbishment and sought-after setting, they had to twice slash the price to just below £5million as they became desperate to sell, eventually offloading the property in 2019.

Despite making more than £80million during her career, Mel endured years of financial hardship after the split. In 2024 she told how she was left with just £700 to her name after costly divorce and custody battles.

Mel revealed she ended up so broke she took to shopping in budget stores Lidl and Costco after returning to the UK in 2019 and moving into her mother Andrea's bungalow with her three kids.

Now she says her new life is ‘100 per cent my second act’ and insists she is happier than ever after tying the knot with Rory at St Paul's Cathedral last July.
