Kyly Clarke became emotional as she opened up about healing, rebuilding and finding purpose after enduring some of the most challenging chapters of her life.

The former model and television personality, 44, took to Instagram on Monday to share a heartfelt video with her followers, breaking down in tears as she explained why she had decided to pursue life coaching.

Speaking directly to the camera from her lounge room, Kyly admitted she still questions whether she is 'doing the right thing' with her life before revealing the emotional realisation that brought her to tears.

'As I sit here about to do another little Couch Conversations for you all… I always call them little epiphanies, and I just had this little moment that came to me and I thought, 'Wow, why am I doing this? What is the deeper purpose?' she began.

Kyly said she suddenly realised what truly motivates her.

'I really just want to heal people,' she said, becoming visibly emotional.

'I thought that was really special because I've never said that to myself before about why I'm doing life coaching and why I'm trying to transform other people's lives.'

The wellness advocate said the realisation made her proud, regardless of whether her latest business venture succeeds.

'No matter how good this does or doesn't go for me as a business… I'm not here with a mask, I'm just here to help,' she said.

'I hope I can forge people forward faster because it inspires me to be able to help you.'

Kyly went on to say she finally feels she has found the purpose she was meant to fulfil.

'It makes me feel like I'm doing the job that I'm meant to be on this planet (to do),' she said.

'I'm meant to be serving people in a certain way because we have to serve ourselves and we also serve our family, but there's always got to be something bigger than you.'

She concluded the emotional clip by telling followers: 'From a raw, real human being to another, that's me and that's why I'm here.'

Kyly was previously married to cricket star Michael Clarke (right). They went their separate ways in 2019 after seven years of marriage and continue to co-parent their daughter

The candid video comes after Kyly recently reflected on overcoming adversity while promoting her coaching business.

In another social media post, she posed the question: 'Do you ever question if you're doing the right thing with your life? What is the purpose?'

She also admitted she understands what it feels like when life doesn't unfold the way you imagined.

'I know what it feels like to have your life not go to plan,' she said.

'I know what it feels like to have to rebuild. I know what it feels like to heal.'

Kyly has endured several very public personal setbacks in recent years.

She and former Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke announced the end of their seven-year marriage in February 2020 after almost a decade together.

The pair share daughter Kelsey Lee, 10.

The former couple have remained committed to co-parenting despite their split.
