NRL star Cody Walker announces his engagement to long-time girlfriend Amy - after they welcomed their first child last year

South Sydney Rabbitohs star Cody Walker has announced his engagement to long-time girlfriend Amy Curmi.

The NRL star, 36, confirmed the exciting news on social media on Saturday, sharing a photo of him and Amy happily embracing.

The pair looked radiant as Amy flashed her eye-popping diamond engagement ring to the camera.

He captioned the picture with some heartfelt words: 'We left Australia as parents, we're returning as bride and groom to be. 

'Thank you to lovely Simon Curwood Jewellers for their efforts in organising this beautiful ring!'

Many of Cody's rugby league friends took to the comments section to offer their well wishes.

'So happy for you guys,' wrote South Sydney veteran and Danika Mason's partner Liam Knight.

'Congratulations,' Luke Burgess added.

'Congrats my elder,' Jamal Fogarty chipped in. 

In December, Cody revealed he had become a 'girl dad' for the first time.

Cody also revealed that his newborn daughter shares the same birthday as one of his older children in a stunning coincidence. 

He announced the arrival of his fourth child with partner Amy, named Keari Lou Walker, in an Instagram post.

In a remarkable turn of events, the newest member of the Walker family shares her birthday with her older brother Kian.

His youngest son Kora Alfie was born in August 2024.
