Zoe Marshall has hit back at a 'condescending Karen' who criticised her for enjoying a child-free weekend away partying with friends.
The NRL WAG, 42, shared a gallery of photos to social media on Monday night which captured her enjoying a weekend of 'fun, frivolity and connection' with some of her closest friends at a scenic retreat.
Zoe looked upbeat and refreshed as she enjoyed nature walks, yoga and meditation sessions and dinner with friends at the nature getaway, as she happily told followers she was indulging in some 'me time'.
'I cried, I felt so loved, we laughed and laughed. We danced. We feasted. It was heaven... this is what a meaningful life is to me. This weekend was exactly it,' Zoe wrote.
'But I'm also a sensitive little soul who needs a moment of recalibration before she can get back into the world. And that's ok.'
While her post was well-received by most of her followers, one snarky 'Karen' took issue with Zoe's getaway and criticised her in the comments.

'Oh my goodness. You poor thing. It sounds like your life is sooooooo hard,' the person sniped.
However, Zoe was having none of it and did not mince words in her response.
'It sounds like you're being a condescending Karen,' Zoe wrote back.
Zoe later shared an update to her Stories revealing she was unapologetic about her 'post' triggering some people, as she had learned to put her well-being first.
'Bah. People so triggered by my last post. The Karen condescending me... it's not 'poor me'. I am the example of what it looks like when you care for yourself over what other people think,' Zoe sniped.
'When you prioritise your nervous system, when you know what you need. And you do that thing regardless of how it looks.
'That's what we are talking about. No longer living like we have to be told 'to be woman and martyr'. The ones that feel attacked are projecting. Believing they can't put themselves first... You can.'
She finished by saying she would live her life according to her own values and not by other people's expectations, urging others to do the same.

The rugby league WAG previously said she is proud the couple have managed to maintain such a strong relationship over the years.
Zoe and Benji walked down the aisle for a second time in 2023 when they renewed their vows at home, surrounded by family and friends.
While she was pregnant with their daughter Ever, Zoe admitted the couple had split up three times before tying the knot in 2013.
The family recently moved into a new $4.75million family home in Sydney.
Benji began his NRL career in 2003 and retired as a player in 2021.
In 2024 he became the coach of his former team the Wests Tigers.
