For me, it was easy to throw the ideas of a musical SHOW or SET into this section as well. By imagining what other terms could be used to describe a CONCERT in general, this category comes together quite clearly.

At first, this category was tricky for me, as I associated PLAYER as a term for a shady individual at a PARTY. Thankfully, putting those terms in the same place was the right path by accident, especially when I realized an ACTOR is often a term that defines someone taking on a role. With an AGENT also assuming a role within a group, this category has a proper solution.

Blue Answers: Revealed & Explained

There are some self-explanatory parts to this puzzle, such as the words GRAND and GREAT going together as positive phrases. However, this doesn't get you anywhere until you think about how both GRAND and GREAT can be tied to familial titles like "grandfather" or "great-grandmother." This will lead you to HALF for "half brother/sister" and STEP for "step-brother/sister" for the right results.

Purple Answers: Revealed & Explained

These terms all stand out as independent at first, but phrases like FROM NEANDER have little meaning other than a relationship to the Neanderthal stage of human evolution. With this in mind, you can research how the HANDY or WISE words are also phases in that development. Humans didn't become UPRIGHT until they transformed after many years of changes, but this Connections puzzle paints a clearer path through this category.
