Inde Navarrette took aim at comedian Shane Gillis and Kelly Clarkson's toy-shop debacle when she hosted Saturday Night Live's Halloween episode.
The 25-year-old actress – who broke out with her lead role in the horror hit Obsession – mocked Gillis and referenced his controversial joke about women's athletic clothing.
'I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm going to be in a Marvel movie,' Navarrette said of her casting as Rogue in an upcoming X-Men movie.
'And I know it's really important for Marvel that you get really fit, so I've been working out a lot,' she explained.
'So every morning I put on my little wh**e outfit, and I hit the gym,' Navarrette joked, referencing Gillis's widely criticized monologue routine.
On the October 10 episode of SNL, Gillis recounted how he had been going to the gym more after hitting rock bottom with his weight.

Later in her monologue, Navarrette got an assist from featured players Grace Reiter and Veronika Slowikowska to poke fun at Clarkson's meltdown at a Brooklyn toy shop after her attempts to buy a permanently installed animatronic bird were allegedly shut down.
The two were part of a procession of SNL cast members showing off their Halloween costumes for the host.
Reiter was dressed in an absurd yellow parrot costume, while Slowikowska kept a low profile in a T-shirt, baseball cap and sunglasses dangling from her collar.
'Grace, you're a bird!' Navarrette shouted in shock, before Reiter clarified: 'It's actually a group costume.'
Then Slowikowska appeared next to Reiter and made it clear exactly what they were mocking.
'I want to buy the bird!' she seethed in an impression that didn't bear any resemblance to Clarkson's voice.

'Oh my God, it's Kelly Clarkson!' Navarrette interjected.
'Sell me the damn bird!' Slowikowska continued in her stylized Clarkson impression.
Reiter shot back: 'I am not for sale!'
Then Slowikowska began to sing to the tune of Clarkson's Since U Been Gone: 'Give me the bird! / I want to bag that toy bird!'
Navarette also made multiple references to her breakout film, the blockbuster horror movie Obsession.
'You probably know me from the movie Obsession. And a lot of people ask me if I'm anything like my character Nikki, and I'm like, 'No… no, no, don't do that!'" she joked as she adopted the character's voice.
'But the thing is, I'm nothing like my character in Obsession,' Navarrette continued. 'Like, my boyfriend is here tonight to support me, and we have such a chill relationship, right?'
Then the camera cut to the audience, where her boyfriend Nick Aiello was giving two thumbs up, even as he was tied to his chair and his mouth was taped shut.
