Olympian Cate Campbell is the definition of chic as she marries Adam Kerr in a stunning outdoor ceremony in the Noosa Hinterland

Cate Campbell has married her long-term partner Adam Kerr in a stunning outdoor ceremony in the Noosa Hinterland. 

The eight-time Olympic medalist was the definition of chic on her special day at Palm Creek Estate, greeting her groom in a structured white bodice paired with a flowing skirt by Sunshine Coast designer Gemma Leakey. 

The 34-year-old added a touch of whimsy to her look with a flowing veil and a colourful bridal bouquet. 

The swimming great shared the news to Instagram alongside a carousel of images.

In one frame, the newlyweds are seen sharing their first kiss in a picturesque outdoor setting.

In another, Cate looks regal as she poses solo, bathed in sunlight. 

Other images see the married couple pose with their beloved dog, and the groom dipping his beautiful bride. 

Cate captioned the gallery simply, writing, 'Here is a glimpse from our day,' alongside a red love heart emoji, before adding the date, '29.08.2026'.  

It wasn't long before Cate's announcement was showered with well wishes, with Aussie breakdancing sensation Raygun kicking off the lovefest.

'Congratulations!!! Stunning,' wrote Rachael 'Raygun' Gunn before adding a love heart eyes emoji.

'Congratulations to you both!! These photos are gorgeous. Can’t wait for the wedding spam,' added retired swimmer Shayna Jack. 

'Congrats lovely!!!!' added TV presenter Liz Cantor.

'Congratulations Cate & Adam. Such a beautiful day, so grateful to have been a part of your morning,' wrote makeup artist Kate Ellen. 

Fellow swimming greats Grant Hackett, Libby Trickett and Michael Klim also shared sweet messages. 

The couple announced their engagement to Instagram in July 2025. 

'A complete and wonderful surprise,' she wrote alongside photographs of her proposal. 

'Last Saturday while watching the sun rise at our new local beach, Adam turned and said: "Cate, I have a question for you." I thought maybe he was going to ask what kind of plants to put in our gardens, what kind of dog we should get, or what we should make for dinner. 

'Instead, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course, I said "yes"…(and cried a lot).

'Simply the perfect way to start the next chapter of our lives.'
