Released on 22 September, Well Dweller is a brand-new metroidvania that offers true competition to the genre, offering stunning visuals, a pulse-pounding narrative, and an adorable artstyle.

4 Fading Echo

Combining colorful and stunning visuals, fast-paced elemental action, and an emphasis on creativity, Fading Echo is another free demo available this weekend. Developed by Emeteria, this RPG will see you manipulate water, trigger chain reactions, and explore surreal worlds as you take on the role of One, a young Legend on a mission to save a dying desertscape from the grip of the Paradox corruption.

As you surf through pipes, slip through cracks, and crash down onto enemies from above, you will be able to turn mobility into momentum and momentum into destruction in this stunning 3D platformer.

3 Princess of the Water Lilies

On the topic of platformers, Princess of the Water Lilies is a brand-new addition to PlayStation and will see players enjoy gentle puzzles, heartfelt boss encounters, and a whole lot of adorable creatures as they take on the role of Princess, a flat-faced cat raised by frogs.

With Princess' purr holding the key to heal a world caught between nature and machine, it is up to her to restore balance by making flowers bloom and machines crumble. However, when a boss arrives, it is not your job to destroy them, but to heal them and free them from their internal prison.

2 Farming Camp

Stardew Valley fans will rejoice to learn about the arrival of Farming Camp, an interactive fiction, pixel-art story that takes players to Evertree Farming Camp. Every year, the search for the next best Evertree Farmer takes place and, in the hopes of a better future, young Alessandra steps up to the plate and enters the competition. However, with the competition tight and agriculture being a lot harder than it sounds, it will take a lot of skill and patience in order to discover what it truly means to be an Evertree Farmer.

1 FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE

Last, but by no means least, is FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE. Set to launch fully this October, PlayStation 5 users can now get their hands on a free demo of the next major Final Fantasy entry. Featuring a return to the classics with a pixel-art style, RESONANCE will see you travel and fight alongside your chosen companions as you work to uncover the truth behind a force that threatens to bring ruin upon all you know.
