Rapper Lucki injured following violent skirmish in LA outside of ComplexCon

Rap artist Lucki appeared to be injured following a confrontation outside of the Los Angeles-based event ComplexCon on Saturday.

The musician, whose full name is Lucki Camel Jr., 30, had been seen in a skirmish which took place outside of the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Police sources told TMZ that Lucki had been taking pictures with fans outside of the venue when an unidentified suspect had struck him in the side of his face, injuring him.

A video of the clip which had been circulating on social media showed a group of people being instructed to vacate the scene, while a person had been heard declaring that 'somebody just got stabbed.'

In a separate clip posted to the social media platform, Lucki had been seen sporting a bloody gash on his neck as he got behind the wheel of a black vehicle, before getting into the backseat.

Another notable rapper, Playboi Carti, had been witnessed in a nearby vehicle while the conflict had been going on, but was not directly involved in it, People reported Sunday.

The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Lucki, Playboi Carti and the Los Angeles Police Department for further comment on the story.

Officers responded to the scene around 4:45 p.m. Saturday to find the fight in progress, the LAPD said in a statement obtained by People.

A group of bystanders 'quickly dispersed,' according to police, as paramedics with the Los Angeles Fire Department had been summoned to the scene.

Four people had wounds that were 'consistent with stab wounds or lacerations,' police said in the statement.

Two people had been transported to a nearby medical facility with 'sustained injuries that appeared to be the result of a knife attack,' according to law enforcement.

Another person who had been taken to a nearby hospital separately had a 'severe laceration believed to have been sustained during the altercation,' police said.

Police said that another person had a laceration on his elbow, but passed on getting treated by medical professionals.

Law enforcement said that it was 'unknown whether he later sought medical treatment or was transported to a hospital.'

None of the suspects in the incidents had been identified as of Sunday, police said.

Representatives for ComplexCon told People in a statement that the incident had occurred 'on the public street outside the event.

'The safety and security of our guests, talent, partners and staff is our highest priority.'

The convention continued, 'We are aware of an incident that occurred outside the ComplexCon event yesterday and our security team and the LAPD responded immediately.

'We take incidents of this nature extremely seriously and remain focused on maintaining a safe and secure environment for everyone attending ComplexCon.'
