TikToker Sydney Towle Moved to Hospice Amid Cancer Battle

“It feels weird hearing myself talk because I feel like a different person at this point just because I’ve been on so much pain medication and other stuff,” Sydney said from a hospital bed in a July 21 TikTok video. “I’m not gonna lie, every day is extremely challenging with the pain that I am constantly experiencing, but I have hope that I can do this.”

"Every day it’s just me taking it day by day,” she added. “Just keep swimming, I’m just happy to be here.”

However, the influencer can’t help but feel isolated during her extended hospital stay. 

“It feels so lonely sometimes because no one else is here and if they’re here, they’re here for a couple days and then there’s my name here every day,” she shared. “So, I try to say ‘hi' to whoever I meet, my neighbors and stuff, but I have a lot of stuffies and drawings from people who have visited.”

She concluded the video, “I’m still here.”

Previously, Sydney shared deeper insight into one of the most challenging aspects of her diagnosis, telling People in May 2025 that “one of the hardest parts of all this is being young."

“Watching my friends go out to dinners or just live their lives, while I couldn’t even leave the house some days, was really tough,” she shared. “With chemo, you don’t feel like yourself—your body changes, you’re tired all the time and everything feels out of sync. I felt like my life was on pause while everyone else’s kept moving.”

But engaging with her followers is what keeps her motivated to push forward.

“What’s really kept me going is the people who message me or even come up to me and say, ‘You’ve helped me so much,’” she said. “Just knowing that being vulnerable and real about cancer is making a difference—that’s been huge for me.”
