Tom Cruise looks every inch the leading man in a sharply tailored suit as he joins Jessica Alba and Emma D'Arcy at star-studded Digger premiere in LA

Tom Cruise was every inch the Hollywood leading man as he arrived to the star-studded Los Angeles premiere of his new film Digger on Monday. 

The 64-year-old Mission Impossible icon - who recently debuted a red dye-job - wore a tailored black suit with a sharp black button-up for the occasion.

The actor was joined by co-star Emma D'Arcy, 34, who made a bold fashion statement in an oversized 80's style white blazer with a pink belt and blue-spotted pants.

The two were seen having a blast on the red carpet as they posed together while playing it up for the cameras. 

Cruise had to wear a bodysuit and prosthetics to age him for his role as an oil tycoon and billionaire Digger Rockwell, who accidentally sets off a global ecological crisis in the Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu directed film. 

Also in attendance was Jessica Alba, 45, who exuded effortless glamour in a tailored black suit, letting her bra peek out from underneath her open jacket. 

The Banshees of Inisherin star Kerry Condon, 43, arrived at the event in a chic black dress and open-toe heels. 

Kirsten Dunst, 44, attended the premiere with husband Jesse Plemons, 38, who stars as Kenny in the film.

The actress - who's been married to Plemons since 2022 - wowed in a black dress and mint heels.

John Goodman, 74, who plays the President of the United States in the film, made a very rare appearance with his wife Anna Beth Goodman. 

Goodman looked handsome in a black suit while his wife opted for a glamorous violet dress. 

The loved-up duo have been married since 1989. 

German actress Sandra Huller, 48, wore an incredible vintage-inspired dress with lace details. 

Sofia Boutella, 44, rocked an all-black ensemble paired with gold necklaces. 

Meanwhile, Riz Ahmed, 43, was accompanied by stylish wife Fatima Farheen Mirza, 35. 

Nancy Cartwright, 68, looked pretty in pink, wearing a silk top and pants.

Last week Cruise unexpectedly debuted bright red hair at the star-studded Digger premiere in London.

He was showing off the bold new look as he arrived at Leicester Square, having ditched his usual brunette style.

Cruise underwent a huge transformation for his character Digger. The trailer showed the actor with thinning white hair, a prosthetic pot belly and a thick Southern accent.

Digger is tasked by the US President (played by Goodman) to save the planet in the film.

Reacting to the trailer, fans have tipped Cruise for an Oscar as they wrote: 'Finally, a movie where Tom Cruise's most dangerous stunt is raw unfiltered acting.'

'Seeing an old Tom Cruise is wild.'

'I love how every once in a while Cruise does a movie that's just 'oh yeah, I can actually act when I feel like it'.'

'Tom Cruise looks so unrecognizable here it's amazing.'

Cruise previously filmed the movie in the UK during the six-month production.

The tagline on the movie poster refers to Digger as 'a comedy of catastrophic proportions'.

Digger is directed by four-time Oscar winner Inarritu, who is known for his work on Birdman and The Revenant.

He is also co-producing the movie with Cruise.

Inarritu previously said of Cruise's transformation: 'The transformation he went through was astonishing. 'Alejandro, it took me 40 years to become this character,' he told me once.

'And I think we both know what it means to carry an entire career into a single moment like this. We both knew that throughout our journeys, we had never done anything even close to this.'

Digger is a diversion for Cruise, who has become known for his incredible stunts in high-action films.

These include scaling Dubai's Burj Khalifa skyscraper for Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, dangling from an Airbus 400 during take off for Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation and driving a motorcycle off a cliff for Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One.

Digger is set to hit theaters on October 2.
