Tommy Fury 'is asked to leave Halloween event after intimidating staff on boozy night' - as tearful fiancée Molly-Mae Hague hints at saga amid friction over his alcohol issues

Tommy Fury was reportedly asked to leave a Halloween event after he 'intimidated' staff during a 'boozy' night out with friends last Saturday (October 10).

The boxer, 27, who split from partner Molly-Mae Hague for a year over his alcohol addiction in 2024, is said to have left several of the scare workers 'terrified' as he is said to have 'staggered around' the Scare City theme park near Chorley.

The father-of-two reportedly 'squared up' to staff members and 'smelled like he'd been sick' before being asked to leave by management, in drama that came two days before Molly-Mae shared a tearful YouTube video.

A source told The Sun: 'Through the night he seemed to get more and more drunk and was rude to scare workers, a lot of whom were women, and was intimidating.

'He was squaring up to people. He smelled like he'd been sick at one point. Eventually he was asked to leave by management.' One video obtained by the publication showed him squaring up to a scare actor, before kissing his clown's mask.

A female employee claimed to The Sun that the brother of former world champion Tyson Fury lunged at her.

She said: 'I was shaking. I've got a famous boxer in my face and two security guards. That was not what I came to work for. I was terrified. All the actors were made aware not even to entertain you.'

Another worker said: 'It's frustrating when you put on stuff like this for families to enjoy then you get idiots ruining it.'

A spokesman for Tommy told The Sun: 'He was asked by numerous members of staff that night to have a face-off with them in a very jokey way. Several later messaged to say 'how lovely it was to see him'.

A spokesman for Scare City told the publication: 'The safety and wellbeing of our scare actors remain our top priority, and we are investigating the matter further.'

Tommy's representative declined to comment when approached by The Daily Mail.

Meanwhile Molly-Mae was left tearful during her latest YouTube vlog, which was shared two days after Tommy's wild night.

Molly-Mae was left tearful during her vlog, which was shared days after Tommy's wild night: 'So much has happened, I've had a big cry. It's ok to have big feelings, reset and go again'

She said: 'So much has happened, I've just had not the best Monday. Weekends are savage with one kid, but weekends are more savage with two kids...

'I've just had a c*** morning. I've had a really big cry and let the emotions out. It's ok to have big feelings, reset and we go again.'

Tommy's struggle with alcohol dependence was the main factor behind his 2024 split from fiancée Molly-Mae.

The boxer and influencer found love on Love Island in 2019 but shocked their fans in August 2024 as the then-engaged couple revealed they had split due to Tommy's alcohol addiction.

Fortunately Molly and Tommy rekindled their romance in May 2025 and have since welcomed their second child, son Midas in June.

However, before they got back together, Molly documented the highs and lows of their split on her Prime Video series as the pair navigated co-parenting their three-year-old daughter.

Molly had a heart-to-heart with her mother Debbie, and explained she is 'traumatised and hurt' by what Tommy put her through.

She said: 'He's never had an alcohol problem, but alcohol caused problems for us. It got to a point where I wasn't looking forward to anything because alcohol affected it so much.

Breaking down in tears, Molly continued: 'At my sisters wedding I pleaded with Tommy, like I begged him to not drink and it's just really sad.

'I don't know why I'm crying now, it's just so sad but it affected me and that's why my relationship with alcohol is so damaged. I just know that isn't who he wants to be, he doesn't want this.'

She added: 'I feel traumatised by the last couple of months, when I see him, I see all that trauma. I am angry at him and I am very hurt.

'I think he hopes in the future we will be back together as a family. Obviously I never ever wanted Bambi to come from a broken home.'

Tommy said the trauma of his hand surgery led to a downward spiral and felt he couldn't be the right partner to his fiancée.

Tommy explained how his problems started when he underwent reconstructive surgery in January 2024, after snapping all the ligaments in his hand in 2019.

He confessed his partying and drinking on rowdy nights out took a toll on his relationship, which ultimately led to their break-up.

Admitting he would go out most nights and drink to 'get black-out drunk,' he said he replaced his intense training camp schedule by 'smashing Guinness left and centre and then later on in the night shots would come out'.

'The reason why me and Molly broke up was because I got addicted to alcohol and I couldn’t be the partner that I wanted to be anymore,' he confessed.

'It kills me to say it, [but] it’s true, I couldn’t. I loved a pint of beer, loved to drink, and it is what it is. People go through different things in life and we all have our crosses to bear. I’ve got mine to bear.'

He stated that his 'mental health was in the pan' during his recovery from surgery, which came off the back of 'the best year I've ever had' in 2023 which saw both his career and life with Molly flourish.

Explaining how a large part of his identity was snatched away from him when he could no longer train, Tommy said his diet and fitness were the first things he let slip before he turned to alcohol.

'I’ve only lived for training and my family, and that was all snatched away from me. So what I did for fun is I started to drink quite a lot. I found that's what made me feel better,' he said, adding: 'I wanted the endorphins that I’d get when I’d finish a good session, when I’d finish sparring, when I’d finish fighting.'

'Cheating was never a thing,' Tommy insisted. 'You can ask Molly this yourself. It was the drink, and the drink is not a good thing. You need to get a grip of it.

'If you're in the same spot as me, where you just think that it's going to cure all your problems, it doesn’t. You wake up even worse and you want to drink more to try and feel happy again. That's the cycle of it.'
