Zappin launches on Robinhood Chain, offers 90% cashback in ETH

A new Telegram trading bot called Zappin went live on Robinhood Chain on September 21, giving users the ability to execute token swaps powered by Uniswap while pocketing 90% of their trading fees back in ETH. The cashback promotion runs for 30 days, a clear play to hoover up early adopters on a Layer-2 network that’s still in its infancy.

Zappin was built by the OnchainLens team, and it arrives roughly three months after Robinhood Chain’s public mainnet debuted on July 1. The bot’s pitch is straightforward: trade tokens directly through Telegram, skip the friction of navigating a separate DEX interface, and get most of your fees returned while the promotion lasts.

What Zappin actually does

At its core, Zappin is a Telegram-native trading interface. Users interact with the bot inside their Telegram app, select tokens, and execute swaps that route through Uniswap’s automated market maker on Robinhood Chain.

The 90% fee cashback is the headline grabber. For the first 30 days after launch, Zappin returns the vast majority of trading fees to users, denominated in ETH. Robinhood Chain operates as an Arbitrum Orbit-based Ethereum Layer-2, meaning it inherits Ethereum’s security while processing transactions at a fraction of mainnet costs. It uses ETH for gas rather than introducing a separate token.

The no-token stance

One of the more interesting decisions the OnchainLens team made is explicitly stating that Zappin does not have a native token. By getting ahead of this and publicly declaring no token exists, the Zappin team is trying to cut off that attack vector before it materializes.

Robinhood Chain’s early momentum

Zappin’s launch doesn’t exist in a vacuum. It’s part of a growing ecosystem forming around Robinhood Chain since its July 1 mainnet launch. Uniswap was integrated as a day-one AMM partner on the network, which gave the chain immediate access to battle-tested decentralized exchange infrastructure. Robinhood Chain was built with a vision to provide a platform optimized for tokenized real-world assets alongside on-chain financial services, incorporating DeFi functionalities such as lending through Morpho.

DEX volumes and total value locked on Robinhood Chain have shown upward trajectories since the mainnet launch, though specific figures weren’t disclosed.

The Arbitrum Orbit architecture is worth noting. By building on Orbit, Robinhood Chain taps into Arbitrum’s established technology stack rather than engineering a rollup from scratch.
