Establishing the world of the Hong Kong elite in a way that global audiences haven't likely seen before, the drama establishes itself as a fascinatingly deep look at high society. Starring Jessie Mei Li as Cola, a newcomer to the elite with a hidden agenda, the series will unpack the old-money Hext family, an institution in Hong Kong, as the story unravels. The trailer for The Season features high society events like horse races, glamorous parties, and yachting abound, giving viewers the chance to indulge in an opulent look at an intense lifestyle that may be aspirational, but ultimately gets dark.
