Known as 'Cyberpunk 2077's' biggest fan, Angharad is a Welsh games writer who thrives in anything related to digital storytelling. If a video game explores the intricacies and horrors of womanhood, she is there.

Thanks to previous work at GAMINGbible, GameByte, The Loadout, Game Luster, Angharad has built a strong understanding of both the digital world and what fans want from it and is eager to share her thoughts and expertise with readers.

Earlier this week saw Sony announce the latest batch of titles heading to its PlayStation Plus service. Alongside the likes of Helldivers 2, Kingdom Come Deliverance II, Vampire Survivors, Hell is Us and more, PlayStation Plus Premium members can also get their hands on a PlayStation 1 classic, now available on both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

First launched back in 2001 for the original PlayStation, Game Boy Advance and Game Boy Color, Atlantis: The Lost Empire was based on the Disney movie of the same name. Giving players the chance to take on the roles of Milo, Vinny, Audrey, Moleire, and Princess Kida, the Disney-inspired video game by Eurocom follows their story as they cross Atlantis in the hopes of putting a stop to the evil schemes of Commander Rourke and save Atlantis itself from doom.

Featuring action-adventure-based gameplay, including both platforming and puzzles to solve, Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire has now been enhanced with brand-new features such as up-rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom video filters. Here is what the official PlayStation blog has to say about the brand-new classics title:

Experience Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire first released on the original PlayStation console, now enhanced with up-rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom video filters. Driven by the legend of Atlantis, join Milo Thatch as he leads a team of experts to unlock the secrets of The Lost Empire. Journey to uncharted depths, far below the ocean surface where hidden dangers swim, lurk and spy from every nook and cranny. What you encounter next will change things forever…

Available on modern-day consoles for the first time since its original launch over 25 years ago, PlayStation Plus Premium members should not miss out on the chance to revisit their childhoods with a hint of nostalgia. Not only that, but Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire is not the only game to return as part of the PlayStation Classics library, as fans can also look forward to Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams on both PS4 and PS5.

 The Lost Empire

First released back in 2006 by Capcom, this PS2 classic has returned, giving players the chance to enjoy the sixth installment in Capcom's Onimusha series. Again, this is a PlayStation Plus Premium exclusive, so be prepared to pay slightly more than the basic subscription. However, unlike standard PS Plus titles that are added each month and get swapped out every 6-12 months, any Classics stay indefinitely, giving you plenty of time to play Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire.
