Stormlight World Guide Is A Must-Have Book For Brandon Sanderson Fans

Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere is ever-growing, and for fans of The Stormlight Archive, you won't want to miss the Stormlight World Guide, a new book that contains new lore details on the planet of Roshar and its denizens. It also includes over 100 illustrations and key facts on people, adversaries, and beasts. It's all canonical as well, so if you've read the series by Sanderson already, it's a must-have purchase.

The Stormlight World Guide book is a part of the official Cosmere RPG, a tabletop role-playing game that also encompasses Mistborn. Even if you have no plans on playing the Cosmere RPG, if you're a fan of The Stormlight Archive, then the Stormlight World Guide is still probably worth buying for the lore and illustrations alone. Considering it may be a while before we get the sixth Stormlight Archive book, it might ease the wait as well.

The Stormlight World Guide is almost exactly what it sounds like: a guidebook that sheds more light on the world of Roshar, its inhabitants, politics, religions, and species. The official description for the book's contents is here:

While the Stormlight World Guide is made with GMs of the Cosmere RPG in mind, there are enough world details and illustrations to make this an appealing item for any Sanderson fan.

Overall, it's a great time to be a fan of Brandon Sanderson and The Stormlight Archive. The author continues releasing books at a steady pace, many of which take place in the Cosmere, and Wind & Truth, the fifth book in the Stormlight Archive series, released late last year. There's also an Apple TV show on the way, and now we have a ton of Stormlight content in the Cosmere RPG as well.

A new adventure called Tidebreakers will be released in October 2027, a part of the current Stormlight adventures in the Cosmere RPG. In other words, if you get into the TTRPG, there's going to be plenty of upcoming content to keep you busy. And that's not even including the various Mistborn titles available for the Cosmere RPG as well. If you're a fan of Brandon Sanderson, be sure to check all of this out. It's a great way to experience Sanderson's worlds in a new way.
