Rebecca Judd is well known for her outspoken political opinions.

And the WAG was at it again on Monday, as she lashed out over news that Australians are facing their fifth interest hike in a single year.

The 43-year-old shared a clip on her Instagram Story in which Sky News Australia journalist Ross Greenwood slammed the changes.

Greenwood pointed out that Australia has suffered more hikes in 2026 than any other major Western nation.

'Just posting here ahead of our fifth interest hike tomorrow,' Bec wrote in her caption alongside the video.

She added a famous quote from former American President Ronald Reagan.

'We don't have inflation because the people are living too well. We have inflation because the government is living too well,' the quote reads.

The video was labelled with the headline: 'Who is telling porkies here? Ross Greenwood or Jim Chalmers?'

Chalmers has served as the treasurer in the Albanese government since 2022.

Her comments come as the Reserve Bank of Australia is tipped to lift the cash rate for the fifth time in 2026 on Tuesday.

The hike will take the rate to 4.85 per cent, its highest level in 18 years.

The expected increase comes despite Australian property prices falling for a seventh consecutive month.

Economists expect the bank to lift the cash rate by 0.25 percentage points to 4.85 per cent following Tuesday's Monetary Policy Board meeting.

Commonwealth Bank economists revised their forecast after the Reserve Bank warned inflation was likely to remain higher than expected, driven by rising energy costs, booming investment in artificial intelligence and persistent economic constraints.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has come under political attack over a busy international travel schedule as Australians face another interest rate hike and ongoing cost-of-living pressures.

The Prime Minister left Australia on Saturday to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in the Caribbean nation of Antigua and Barbuda.

Albanese said he was making the trip at the personal request of King Charles. He is not due home until next Friday evening.
