Judith Lucy has been highly frank and honest about her breast cancer journey.
The Australian comedian underwent a double mastectomy last month, and on Tuesday she revealed the graphic details of what her recovery entails.
In an Instagram post, the 58-year-old shared an image of one of two surgical drain bags that she is wearing after her surgery.
The bags are being used to drain blood and fluid from the wounds in Lucy's chest after she had her breasts removed.
'Surgical drains? Who knew? There's nothing like watching your own blood, fluid and body tissue drain out of you into a plastic drain that you carry around in a natty little cloth bag,' the Crackerjack actress wrote in her caption.
'It was like being a walking (stylish) science experiment! Sadly one kind of came out the other evening while I was asleep. I was so annoyed that I didn't have company.'

Lucy complained that she was 'just leaking fluid and blood out of the wound where my breasts used to be.'
'On the good news front, that drain has been replaced by what looks like a small, transparent wine bladder so now that’s coming out of the side of my chest. Bottoms up Australia!' she joked in her usual sarcastic manner.
Last week, Lucy posted an image showing her now-flat chest after she underwent the double mastectomy.
She then disclosed some good news, indicating that no cancer was found in her lymph nodes.
'I'm not going to pretend that no longer having melons isn't super weird but it looks like it's not in my nodes which, as a friend who has dealt way too much with breast cancer said, "is like winning the cancer lottery",' she wrote.
'I'm not exactly at the point where I'm viewing this all as "a gift" but I'm so grateful it was caught so early.'

Last month, Judith shared a candid hospital photo capturing the moment she learned she would need a mastectomy following her shock breast cancer diagnosis
The performer said in a recent interview that no longer having her breasts will 'be a shock' and she'll have to overhaul her wardrobe, but she was not choosing to undergo a reconstruction.
'It's incredibly weird. It's gonna be surreal when I wake up on Friday and my ladies are no longer with me. I love my ladies,' she told ABC Melbourne radio.
'A male comedian, who shall remain nameless, texted me to say, "Comedy's greatest breasts." Sorry to everyone else.
'I think if I were younger I would make a different decision, but I know the recovery time will be a lot less. I think I'm pretty happy with that decision.'
