Carrie Bickmore tipped to be the next Bachelorette - amid long-standing romance rumours with co-star Tommy Little: 'Dating hasn't been easy'

Carrie Bickmore has been tipped as the top choice for a reboot of The Bachelorette.

Insiders claim the radio star, 45, is on the radar for the matchmaking series, with Ten eager to bring the reality TV show back to life after it went on hiatus in 2021.

And sources claim the mother-of-three may just be willing to find love on television, according to Woman's Day.  

'Carrie has everything producers are looking for. She's funny, relatable, successful and audiences already feel like they know her,' the insider said. 

'They think she'd make incredible television because people would genuinely be invested in seeing her find love.'

They went on to say that Carrie may be open to finding love on national television, as she hasn't had much luck finding it on her own. 

'Dating hasn't exactly been easy and she's been trying to think outside the box,' the source said. 

Carrie's friends have apparently been 'telling her she deserves to find someone who matches her energy and can make her laugh'.

Daily Mail has reached out to Carrie and Ten for comment.  

It comes amid longstanding rumours that Carrie may be secretly dating her radio co-star Tommy Little.

Carrie and Tommy, 41, have long been the subject of romance rumours thanks to their on-air chemistry and flirty social media exchanges.

The pair have made several appearances together over the past year, including cuddling up at a golf tournament in Adelaide and enjoying a trip to Uluru together.

She posted a sweet snap to Instagram of herself and Tommy embracing and smiling at the LIV Golf tournament.

In March last year, Tommy took to the stage again to make jokes at his co-star's expense for The Roast of Carrie Bickmore.

However, the media personality had the crowd speculating whether he had the hots for the blonde beauty after he made a suggestive comment about her appearance.

During the roast, Tommy declared Carrie 'looks better and better' every day.

'She's just getting hotter and hotter, and if you want to know what's her secret: cosmetic surgery,' he joked.

Romance rumours between the pair come after Carrie's very public split from longtime partner Chris Walker in 2023.

The television star announced their split in an Instagram post, saying the pair were focused on co-parenting their children.

The former couple have two daughters, Evie, 11, and Adelaide, seven, as well as son Ollie, 18, who Carrie shares with late husband Greg Lange.

Lange died in 2010 at the age of 34, after a battle with brain cancer.

Tommy was last linked to environmental activist Natalie Kyriacou in 2021.
