Charli D'Amelio Reveals Favor Beyoncé & Jay-Z Asked for Their Daughter

Charli D’Amelio Responds to Speculation Her Family "Stole" Her Money

Charli D'Amelio made sure she was home so Beyoncé could reach her telephone.

The influencer who turned her viral TikToks into a successful dance career shared how she learned that one of Beyoncé and Jay-Z's daughters was her first-ever celebrity fan.

"Someone had reached out because they wanted me to do a FaceTime call with their daughter," D'Amelio told The Hollywood Reporter during an interview published Oct. 21, without naming either Blue Ivy, 14, or Rumi, 9. "In the background is Beyoncé."

And D'Amelio couldn't help but get excited when the "Telephone" artist chimed in during the meet-and-greet to give her daughter some guidance.

"She's like, 'You know, just don't take all her time,'" the 22-year-old continued. "And I'm like, 'You take as much time as you need. I'm here. Whatever.'"

Meanwhile, the all-time Grammy awardee's other half was intent on capturing a memento for his daughter from the virtual hang.

"Jay-Z asked me for a photo, and I don't have it," D'Amelio confessed. "But it does exist somewhere.”

Aside from scoring quality time with the Carters, the Dancing With the Stars season 31 champion—who won alongside pro Mark Ballas—has also mingled with other global pop stars Shakira and Jennifer Lopez.

"My first time being starstruck, I was at the Super Bowl. This was years ago," she recounted of the 2020 performance in Miami, Fla. "I was going into a rehearsal for J.Lo and Shakira's halftime performance."

And the football festivities went from good to "insane" when D'Amelio got to share the field with her dance hero, Parris Goebel, who was leading her international dance troupe as background dancers for the night.

"I grew up watching J.Lo and her performances. And the Royal Family," she raved about Goebel's New Zealand hip-hop crew, "I saw them. I've been watching them for years," adding, "if you're a dancer, you know."

“We're young, we're blessed, we're being celebrated—this is the time to be happy and to have fun with it," the Best Supporting Actress nominee told Time in an interview published Feb. 2026, "especially in a space that some people take so serious, and some people are cold, some people are robotic."
