Chloe Lewis says her final goodbye to ex Jake Hall as she tells him 'I will love you forever' and kisses a portrait of the late star while dancing after his 'unconventional' funeral

Jake Hall's ex-girlfriend Chloe Lewis has shared an emotional tribute to the late star after attending his 'unconventional' funeral on Friday.

The former TOWIE star, 35, said her final goodbye to her childhood sweetheart in a heart-wrenching passage on Instagram, while also sharing photos from the day.

Chloe lay a floral tribute at the service, which was held at St Mary's Church in Wanstead, east London, featuring an old picture of herself and Jake together.

The heart-shaped tribute was surrounded in a frame of baby's breath and red roses, the first of which symbolises purity, innocence, and everlasting love.

After the service, Chloe shared a photograph of Jake on her story, declaring that she will love him 'forever' and promising to 'look after his people'. 

She wrote: 'I honestly wish I could change what happened. Someone who I just thought would be in my life regardless of where we was in life.

'& I truly hope one day I get to see you again. I'll look after your people & hand on my heart, I'll LOVE you forever.

'I'm so sorry. I heard this song on your page after losing you & it was completely your soul & it makes me feel warm inside. So I'll listen to it forever. All my love always Jakey.'

Chloe also shared the moment she bounced on an inflatable floor at Jake's unique wake, captioning the shot: 'Dancing in the clouds with you, in a room full of your beautiful artwork'.

The unique event saw his family and friends gather at an immersive celebration of Jake's life and work, featuring a large-scale exhibition of his paintings, a tribute to his fashion career and performances from close friends and collaborators. 

During one of the DJ sets on the day, Chloe, who dated Jake for eight years between 2008-2016, danced holding a huge portrait of Jake, at one point kissing the picture.

On display outside the venue there was a billboard of Jake erected with a quote which read: 'The world told you to choose. So, choose. Choose everything.'

The event took place at Unlocked Shoreditch, which is owned by Sonny, and featured headline DJ sets and live performances from his friends Maverick Sabre, Tom Grennan, and The Kooks.

During his DJ set, Sonny was joined on stage by Jake's good friend Ryan Thomas, who also acted as a pallbearer during the ceremony.  

Ryan posted the moment on his Instagram Story and wrote: 'This is for you Jake.'

His brother Scott Thomas shared an emotional statement alongside a picture of Ryan sat on the white inflatable structure at the reception.

He said: 'I don't know what or how you've done it but you've shown my big brother something very special about life and within himself. Something that no one else has ever managed to do before and for that I thank you.

'Your legacy and energy will live on forever brother. Shine bright on the other side and we will see you when we get there.'

Jake's family vowed to 'continue his mission' to display his passions for art and fashion, as they celebrated his life with the immersive exhibition.

Jake's family are launching The Choose Everything Foundation, in his memory, with all proceeds directed towards its formation and his daughter River, eight. 

Jake was found dead with head injuries in Majorca after running through a single-glazed glass door at a holiday villa five weeks ago on May 6.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Sonny said: 'We wanted to give Jake a send-off that matched who he was – not a quiet room, not a conventional goodbye. He lived out loud. 

'He built things. He made people feel something. Last night was our way of saying: we saw you. We're proud of you. And we're not done yet. 

'The art, the foundation, everything we're building in his name – that's the mission continuing. Choose everything.'

The memorial took place hours after Jake's friends and family came together to say their goodbyes at his funeral. 

Many appeared to be in disbelief following Jake's shocking death aged just 35 after he ran through a glass door in a holiday villa he was renting on the Spanish island of Majorca – where Jake had lived with his family during his childhood. 

Sonny's voice choked up with emotion as he spoke movingly of their lives together in a message he had pre-recorded.

He promised that he would help care for Jake's daughter River and told how his brother had done more in 35 years than most people would in several lifetimes.

Sonny tearfully concluded saying: 'I love you so much – I miss you so much.'

Jake's devastated parents Greg and Jacque were joined by his former girlfriends – Chloe and the mother of his daughter River, Misse Beqiri – as hundreds of mourners crammed inside St Mary the Virgin, in Wanstead, east London, for the 90 minute service.

Co-stars of the hit reality TV series, boxer Derek Chisora and members of David Beckham's family, including his mother Sandra and sister Joanne, were also among the packed congregation.

Jake was found dead at his holiday villa on May 6.

Officers were called to the rented house in Santa Margalida in the north of the holiday island at around 7.30am where he was discovered. 

Police quizzed four men and two women staying at the house.

They reportedly told officers that they had been out in the evening and continued partying after returning to the property in the early hours.

The Guardia Civil confirmed there was no 'criminal activity' surrounding Jake's death.

Hours before he died, he shared a last post on Instagram vowing to 'remember the good things'.

Set to The Rolling Stones' classic Beast of Burden, it showed him enjoying painting, Spanish scenery and fashion.

It was captioned: 'Life is b******s sometimes but I'm gonna try to remember the good things - looking through things - I'm just making art - in many forms.' 

Jake, who was renting a property in Santa Margalida at the time of his death, joined the cast of TOWIE in 2015 and dated co-star Ms Lewis, before quitting in 2024.

He also ran a menswear brand called 'By Jake Hall', and dated Real Housewives of Cheshire star Beqiri, with whom he had eight-year-old daughter River. Hall and Beqiri split in 2021, but she paid tribute to him today by posting a photo of him kissing her.

Jake is believed to have arrived in Majorca on May 5 before going on a night out in Palma, then returning to the villa with two other men and three women.

They partied and played music into the morning but the accident happened at about 7.15am when neighbours heard a loud crash, followed by glass shattering.

The Guardia Civil confirmed there was no 'criminal activity' that took place at the scene, while legal sources confirmed the death appeared to be entirely accidental.

An autopsy took place in Palma but the results of the tests will not be made public.

Following his death, Jake's ex Misse Beqiri said: 'I never thought I would ever have to write this, and the pain of even putting these words down feels unbearable. There was no way you were ever supposed to go. My heart is shattered, and so is our daughter's.

'You lit up every room you walked into – your smile, your charm, your energy that filled the air. The way you loved music, how deeply you felt every sound, your creativity, your mind, your spirit.

'You were so deeply loved by so many people, and seeing the love everyone has for you is both heartbreaking and beautiful all at once.'

Other tributes poured in for Hall, including from Fat Tony who said on Instagram: 'Devastating news we love you @jakehall such an awful loss to the world you beautiful man x.'

TOWIE also issued a statement which read: 'Jake was a part of the TOWIE family for a number of years and we send our very deepest sympathies to his family and friends following today's very sad news.'
