Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is currently 100% available, but interested players will need to move fast, as the offer will only last for the next 24 hours. The game has been going through a lot lately. In fact, the true finale for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has finally been issued, as the game has concluded its last chapter. This DLC has inevitably set up the events for the sequel, arriving at an undisclosed date in 2027. Now, players can experience the game entirely for free, no strings attached.

As was revealed via a post on the official Xbox Wire website, several games are being made free for Xbox players as part of the Free Play Days initiative, which happens every weekend. In total, five titles are being highlighted. Three of these games require an active Xbox Game Pass membership to be played for free, while the two others can be played by any member on the Xbox platform, regardless of whether they are Game Pass members or not.

According to the post, Crisol: Theater of Idols, Planet Zoo, and Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports all require an Xbox Game Pass membership to play. Meanwhile, Grand Theft Auto Online is free for all. Additionally, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is free for all players on Xbox platforms without the need for a subscription. The manga and anime-inspired game can be played on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

While the game is free, you may want to rush. The Free Play Days initiative for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 lasts until July 19, this Sunday, so you’ll likely be unable to fully beat it and its content. Even so, you’ll have a lot of time to check out what the game has to offer, perhaps as a teaser for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3. If you do end up enjoying the game, you can get it at a discount, which is also running for a limited time.

If you’re a member of Xbox Game Pass, you can pick up Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for $4.99, rather than paying its full price of $19.99. The 25% off discount available on the Microsoft store will end on July 30. The Future Saga, which represents the end of an era for Dragon Ball, is not included in the Free Play Days trial nor the discounted game – you’ll need to purchase it separately.

The other games on Free Play Days are also at a discount, apart from Crisol: Theater of Idols. This initiative provides players with a great opportunity to check out new games before committing to a purchase. If you’re a fan of Akira Toriyama’s work, you should consider playing Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for free while you can.
