DWTS' Sasha Farber Shouts Out This Pro After His Season 35 Absence
Sasha Farber Breaks Silence on DWTS Season 35 Absence
Sasha Farber is passing the baton.
Though the Dancing With the Stars pro was not cast on season 35—which he said was not by choice—he proved there are no hard feelings by praising another dancer that made it onto the roster instead.
"The Dancing With the Stars cast announcement was so bloody good," he shared in a Sept. 4 TikTok video. "I mean, the celebs are gonna be phenomenal, and it literally ticks every box of genre and style."
Farber—who last competed on season 33 with Bachelorette star Jenn Tran—made it clear he doesn't hold his absence against the dancers, especially newcomer Hailey Bills, Jenna Johnson's niece who participated in the DWTS troupe last year.
In fact, he offered a special shoutout to the 20-year-old, who is paired with Love Thy Nader reality star Sarah Jane Nader this season for her first time competing as a pro.
"I'm also so excited for Hailey to be a pro," he said. "I mean, she is phenomenal. I'm so ex cited to watch her shine. You watch, she's going to kill it."
Ultimately, he's looking forward to cheering on the cast, which includes actors like Jenna Dewan, Harry Shum Jr., Julia Stiles and Tatyana Ali.
"I know who I'm voting for," he said. "I mean, I want to know who you are voting for, because I have my idea—I have two or three."
He added, "I'm super excited, and this is going to be a season for the books. Let's go!"

Farber raised eyebrows earlier this week when he revealed that it was "not my choice" to be left off the season 35 cast, per a since-deleted TikTok comment, according to Us Weekly.
He also "liked" multiple comments from fans, including one that read, "Idk I feel like Sasha is one of the best male pros and I don’t get why he’s not on this season again."
In addition to Farber, Gleb Savchenko was also absent from the season 35 cast announcement, which was unveiled on Good Morning America Sept. 2.
"Guys, you can stop telling me you’re sorry," Savchenko wrote on Instagram Sept. 2. "I’m good."

The Love Island UK alum is hoping her love for DWTS doesn't betray her as she manifested this experience.
"I have a vision board and I redo it every year," she told E! News in May. "This year is the first year that I stayed at home by myself on New Year's Eve. I did not go out at all. I made myself a bowl of pasta and a glass of red wine and I redid my vision board for the year. Dancing With the Stars was already on it from the year before. However, I added five more Dancing With the Stars on the board."
