If you’re someone who’s been trying to update their PC and move into AMD’s latest and greatest platform, AM5, we found a great deal in this 2-item combo from Newegg. Just $514.99 gets you a solid mid-range class motherboard, the Gigabyte X870 Aorus Elite WIfi 7 Ice, and the star of the combo, 32GB (2x16GB) of Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5-6000 (also in white). With a normal price of $439.99 if bought alone, the $184.99 combo savings essentially puts the RAM at a mere $255, an incredible deal in today’s market.

Starting with the motherboard, the X870 Aorus Elite Wifi 7 Ice is a solid mid-range motherboard and a great centerpiece for building your new AM5 gaming PC. The Icy-white appearance stands out from the sea of black boards and is sure to look great inside a white or silver chassis. For those who would like integrated RGBs on their board, there is a small strip under the chipset heatsink that gives off a subtle glow. Or if you don’t want them on, simply turn them off. Either way, it’s a good-looking motherboard.

The X870 Elite Wi-Fi 7 Ice motherboard supports the latest AMD processors, including the flagship Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 dual-CCD 3D V-cache-equipped CPU, or, if you’re ‘just gaming’, pairs nicely with the single-CCD 3D V-cache Ryzen 9 9850X3D for a lot less. Either way, it’s capable of handling any compatible processor, including AMD's next-gen Zen6, without concern. While this isn’t an ‘X3D’ board by name, Gigabyte's latest BIOS lets you use the ‘X3D’ overclocking feature so that you can get every MHz out of your CPU with ease.

Connectivity-wise, the X870 Aorus Elite Wifi 7 Ice offers robust power delivery (16-phases for Vcore), ample USB ports on the rear IO (12 total, including two USB4 40 Gbps Type-C ports), fast networking with an integrated 2.5 GbE and quick-connect Wi-Fi 7, plenty of storage options with four SATA ports and four M.2 sockets (three PCIe 5.0 x4 sockets - quite rare on X870), and a solid audio solution using the last-gen flagship Realtek ALC1220 codec. On top of the specifications, Gigabyte’s EZ features span multiple functions, including the Wi-Fi EZ Plug, EZ-Latch, and EZ-Click Plus on the PCIe and M.2 sockets (quick-release and screwless!) to ease the installation process.

The RAM part of the bundle, Corsair’s Vengeance RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DRR5-6000 CL36 RAM kit is currently available on Newegg for $439.99 when bought separately. The good news is that the $184.99 discount brings this RAM down to around $255, which is quite reasonable for the times. This white kit matches the Aorus Elite Ice board and sports a frosted RGB light bar that runs the length of the sticks, drawing attention inside your case. Or, if RGB lighting isn’t your thing and you prefer a stealthy appearance, you can also turn it off. The DDR5-6000 speed lands in the sweet spot for the AM5 platform and is a worthwhile, good-looking option. The SK Hynix ICs under the heatsink pair nicely with the board and offer plenty of overclocking headroom.

With a price of only $514.99, and almost $185 off, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better AMD-based combo deal on Newegg right now. Since there’s no sign of relief on RAM (or storage, or graphics cards) in the near future, combos like these are your best option to upgrade your PC today. Jump on this deal now and get your Icy-white AM5 system started before it expires.
