With season three of House of the Dragon coming to an end this Sunday, fans are already mourning the hiatus we will have to endure whilst we wait for the fourth and final season. Inspired by Fire and Blood by George R.R. Martin, House of the Dragon follows the Targaryen dynasty during the Dance of the Dragons as a civil war sees the iconic house torn apart from the inside.

Thanks to the success of Game of Thrones, other spin-offs such as House of the Dragon, as well as A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, have also met critical acclaim, and so the wait between seasons is always dreaded.

Luckily, there is a way to make that wait go a whole lot quicker and that is thanks to Game of Thrones: Dragonfire. Released back in July for Android courtesy of Google Play, this mobile game inspired by both the events of Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon will see players command legendary forces, forge powerful alliances, and ultimately rule the Seven Kingdoms from the towering Iron Throne.

Developed by Warner Bros. International Enterprises, Game of Thrones: Dragonfire's official synopsis reads as follows:

Build your empire, raise a fearsome dragon army, and wage RTS war across Westeros to claim the Iron Throne. Game of Thrones: Dragonfire is an epic 4X strategy war game where you lead your House through conquest, diplomacy, and dragon warfare in the most immersive medieval fantasy game on mobile.

Gameplay consists of collecting and commanding mighty dragons, including some of our favorites from House of the Dragon, as well as waging epic strategic warfare in high-stakes PvP combat. You will also get to build and upgrade your kingdom, discover epic storylines, and forge multiplayer alliances.

However, if you are still unsure about Game of Thrones: Dragonfire, which is understandable considering that it is a mobile game, here is the full list of features.

• The Definitive GoT Strategy Game: Officially licensed medieval fantasy RPG and war game.

• Deep 4X Gameplay: Explore, expand, exploit and exterminate in a massive world.

• Stunning Visuals: High-fidelity graphics bring the dragons and strongholds of Westeros to life.

As such, Game of Thrones: Dragonfire currently sits at a 4.6 User Score on Google Play, with fans praising its canon lore, endless amounts of gameplay, and progression. One positive review reads, "I'm enjoying this game very much. The early game drags a little, but once you get past it, the different approaches to gameplay and fun things you can do are endless. I really enjoy the mix between focusing on your own progression alongside furthering your faction and alliance power and control. You can engage on a world level or keep to yourself when you fancy. Great game."

So, if you are looking for a way to fill the void when season three of House of the Dragon comes to an end this Sunday, look no further than Game of Thrones: Dragonfire.
